Yünsa, which is the largest in Europe and ranked amongst the top five in the world in upper segment wool fabric production, held the Ordinary General Assembly for 2021 with the intense interest and participation of its shareholders. Mustafa Sürmegöz, who responded the questions of the investors and received their suggestions during the General Assembly, said, “To hear the trust and belief of our shareholders in Yünsa, with whom we had the opportunity to meet on the occasion of our General Assembly; we were happy to see how much our investors embraced our company and this further increased our motivation as management. We always say that Turkey's national value Yünsa belongs to us all and we have taken steps up until now in this direction to make our stakeholders feel in the same way. I am happy to see that we are reaping the rewards of our work, and I would like to thank all our partners who came to our General Assembly and shared their views and support with us. By Allah's grace, I sincerely believe that we will achieve even greater successes in the future, with the trust and support of our stakeholders whom are behind us."
‘’We will Quadruple our Profitability’’
While underlining that the growth momentum of the company in 2021 will continue to increase in the new business period, Sürmegöz said, “We will accelerate investments that will give us a competitive edge as Yünsa that also expected to increase efficiency, flexibility and quality in production processes in the new period. We announced at the beginning of this year that we aim to achieve a turnover of 1 billion TL and a net profit of over 100 million TL by the end of the year, by achieving a triple growth in our net sales and approximately quadrupled in our net profit in 2022. We are progressing rapidly towards achieving this goal. If we continue with this momentum, I believe that we will be able to achieve the profitability target we announced at the beginning of the year much earlier.”
