Grosse, the Locomotive of Textile World
Tuncar Çelikbaş stated that Grosse has been the locomotive of the textile world in its history and noted exhibitions are important venues for manufacturing companies in order to promote and introduce new technologies and the development of the industry. Çelikbaş mentioned about the UniShed Jacquard machine introduced as Grosse at ITMA 2015 being one of the largest exhibitions and organized every four years with the latest innovations: “ Besides the traditional jacquard weaving technology, Grosse has been a leading company in the industry by using the most recent and modern technologies. UniShed2 Harnessless jacquard weaving machine is an example of these technologies. It is still the first and sole harnessless Jacquard machine worldwide. UniShed2 has been officially launched to the market for sales at ITMA 2015 after successful R&D studies. In addition to several features, UniShed 2 detects errors thanks to monitoring system support and stops the machine before any error occurs and sends a warning message. Thus an error-free weaving environment is enabled. This feature is an indispensable technology for airbag manufacturing facilities. We can perform weaving on water-jet looms with the same jacquard machine. We can name the possibility to manufacture with a jacquard machine in water-jet loom environment as an innovation, too.
Çelikbaş continued his words by giving information about Multiple Xdrive, Jacquard Weaving Technology, “The Servo technology first introduced 20 years ago in Milan by Grosse, the servo-engine driven technology named as Direct Drive technology by our competitors and introduced on Dornier air-jet looms are further developed today. This innovation has been introduced at ITMA 2015 Milan as self-driven jacquard machine named Multiple Xdrive. In addition to these, EJP6 series has also been introduced to our customers. Several innovations are also present in these machines as well as our other products,” he said
