Bursalı, Turkey's largest towel exporter continues its operations at full speed in Turkmenistan. While continuing to take firm steps forward in its global growth journey, Bursalı aims to provide employment for approximately 1000 workforce with its investment in Turkmenistan.
While giving information about the investment, Bursalı Chief Executive Officer Alper Bursalı said that they continued their growth journey in accordance with the sustainability-oriented and value-added production strategies. While expressing about their focus on own investments in Turkmenistan within this framework, Bursalı said, ''To make our operational activities more efficient at global level, we made a decision to grow our investment in Turkmenistan. We will continue our growth and development in Turkmenistan. Our textile mill is continuing to rise at full speed.’’
New Production Model
Bursalı, who talked about the installation of first private towel production facility with a joint global partnership in the textile industry in Turkmenistan which is their corporate signature, Bursalı said, ''Here, we will develop new production models in a closed area of 100,000 square meters and create new employment for about 1000 people. In the first quarter of 2023, yarn production and twisting facility and also fabric and yarn dye house will become operational in our factory, and in the second phase, towel weaving facility and apparel facility will be put into operation. At the factory, we will have 12 thousand tons yarn production, twisting and dyeing capacity and 10 thousand tons towel weaving and apparel capacity annually as well.’’
While expressing that they aim to increase the textile investments made in the region in the long term, Bursalı said that they will also bring into life successful projects in Turkmenistan.
