Ekoteks Textile Machinery and Accessories, has a deep rooted history in the field of technological ceramic accessories demanded by the spinning and jacquard machines. The company that has been cooperating with Erginer Porcelain, which has been engaged in porcelain production for more than 30 years, started to produce porcelain yarn guides in 1985. Having been following the rapid development in the textile machinery sector, the company started to produce advanced technology aluminum oxide ceramics with the brand Ekorit. This product is used especially in the machines that use and manufacture nylon and polyester yarns. In 2002, the company added the ekotit® titanium-oxide ceramics used in micro-fiber yarns in its product range and in 2005, it added the ekozir® ziconium-oxide scissor ceramics used in full automatic spinning machines of the brands such as Murata, Autocoro, Schlafhorst.
Ekoteks, which produced the harness elements of the Stäubli, Bonas, Grosse and Schleicher jacquard machines for the first time in 1989 with the trademark of ekowire®, was also engaged in the production of iron weighted wire healds during the same period. Having always followed the developments within the sector, the company started to produce lyrca weighted system, silicon weighted system and finally spring weighted system respectively. Ekoteks, which has also been producing jacquard harnesses and accessories, started to manufacture label machine harnesses, upholstery, towel, velvet, pile fabric, curtain, and coverlet harnesses as ready for machinery assembly.
Since the materials used in harness groups are critically important, the company uses in ekowire® the industrial polyester based harness cords that are fixed against elongation and neutralized in static electricity and vulcanized fiber and dash board the quality of which has been approved internationally.
In order not to sacrifice quality, we use high quality wire healds and spring wires appropriate for the characteristics of the warp thread and the high speed looms. In addition, the raw materials used in jacquard accessories such as the jacquard module yarns, tackle blocak, pulley thread, produced with the trademark of ekowire®, are supplied from the companies the quality of which is approved internationally. In order for its customers to use the most suitable product, the company also provides technical consultancy about their products.
Ekoteks, Developed by R&D
The company that manages to become effective by offering its customers – thanks to the experience and knowledge it has in harness groups and jacquard accessories - the materials most appropriate to the speed of the looms and jacquard installations, continues to take part in the national and international exhibitions. Ekoteks, which allocate some of its production for the export markets, is in a close relationship with the machinery and yarn manufacturers’ sector. The company has a history, which has been fed with the R&D activities for 25 years.
In addition, Ekoteks, produces – in accordance with the customer demand - yarn brake guides used in warp machines and yarn transfer processes. In addition to the textile ceramics, the company also produces ceramics used in copper and steel cables and in other industries. It offers high speed and high quality ceramic take up winders with plastics used in the production of polyester yarns such as POY and FDY.
The company that has been equipped with modern communication and production equipments, creates new product designs and mould applications in its CNC model processing unit and produced professional CAD designs with its experienced technical staff in its moulding room. Ekoteks, which has adopted the motto ‘Made in Türkiye’ in its production, certifies its quality with the TUV CERT- ISO 9001-2000 quality certificate it has.
