Tanka Döküm, the Beam Master

Tanka Döküm, which has been supplying intermediate products for the textile machines since 1948, manufactures beam covers, beams for narrow weaving, wheels, frames, brakes and beam carriers. The company also continues the spare part production, which supports the machinery manufacturers.

Established in 1948 in İstanbul, Tanka Döküm started production on a closed area of 150 sqm. The company commenced the production with cast iron and aluminum moulding segments and after 1960s, it engaged in the production of beam covers. Tanka Döküm, which has been serving to many companies such as Mensucat Santral, Bozkurt, Akfil, Akın Tekstil, Bahariye Mensucat, Kartaltepe Mensucat, Aksu, Altuna Tekstil for more than 10 years, continued the production under its own brand name. The company that offers technological and quality production and quick service, seems to have managed to attract the attention of the global textile machinery manufacturers.

Tanka Döküm, which has a broad range of products in its production line, performs the production of warp beams for Benninger and the other warp looms. In addition the company produces weaving beams for the leading companies such as Somet, Vamatex, Picanol, Sulzer. Tanka Döküm allows production on custom orders and in all standard sizes appropriate to the Rapier, Air Jet, Water Jet, Shuttle, Velvet, Carpet, Rug and Narrow Weaving looms within the company.

The company that uses aluminum moulding in the cover production, ensures problem-free usage for many years. In addition to the single walled machines that do not require too much tensile strength and can be used in yarn winding processes, Tanka manufactures duble walled covers that require very high tensile strength and are also used in yarn winding.

Tanka Döküm, produced the high-tech batching trucks, with which the corrosion of the trucks and transmission of this rust to the dry product - biggest problem of the dyehouses – is eliminated. Standard batching truck frames can carry loads up to 10 tons and they do not bend or break. The company that manufactures the wheels according to the loads, performs customized production. The rotation technology of the company, which provides service with various rectangular and conical trucks and produces customized special sizes, takes the production with the existing moulds as a basis.
