Superba’ s Technological Solutions to the Flooring Industry

France-based Superba SAS, exporting almost all of its production, develops machines with regards to continuous carpet yarn heat-setting amd dyeing processes. The firm has nearly 1400 production lines within the global market and it is known as a close follower of fairs. Also taikn place in ITMA ASIA, Superba strengthened its relations with the customers by going through a successful edition. The firm, having introduced TVP3 heat-setting machine and Greentex continuous texturing machine first time in 2011 ITMA Barcelona, exhibited those machines one more time for Asian producers.

Superba Textile Systems, having an important marketshare in global terms, compensates the demands of the producers to a high level, thanks to its new generation machines. Developing new technologies for continuous carpet yarn heat setting and dyeing processes, Superbe introduced continuous heat setting and steaming of woven carpet, tufted carpet, rug (PP,PA, PET, PAN wool and blends), knitwear and hand knitting yarns, machine manufacture for high-bulk production and space-dyeing machines enabling dyeing up to 8 colors.

40 Years of Industrial Experience

Superba, taking place in China with its heat setting lines in carpet yarn production since 90’s, has opened up its agency in Shanghai in 2005. From the day of its opening, the agency has successfully enlarged its Asian market effect area in a great extent. Superbe has been executing machines, latest technology, economical and environment-friendly productions for quality carpet, especially in the last 4-5 years. It constantly increases production level.

One of the most important products that Superba, with its 40-years of experience, exhibited in ITMA ASIA is TVP3 line which comes forth with energy saving in heat setting process. When compared to the heat setting machines that started to be produced in 1995, in this last model having been introduced in ITMA ASIA, energy waste is reduced as 50 percent. Developed TVP3 line works in cooperation with the new ‘IE3’ motors which reduce energy consumption. The machine, of which Superba made a great amount of sales in Gaziantep region after having introduced in ITMA Barcelona, provides easiness of use in fiber with pressurized saturated steam in145°C.

TVP3 Comes Forth with Its Advantages

The machine is defined as very suitable for soft carpets produced from materials such as polyester and for especially thin yarn. Superbe heat setting is based on pressurized saturated steam principle. Advantages of pressurized saturated steam are; heat setting and homogeny operation up to the center of the fiber, no bleaching in yarn, low-temperature process, no degeneration in oil and chemicals, and low energy use. TVP3, the 3rd generation heat setting machine, provides the user various advantages such as easiness to use, maintenance and repair, using time more efficiently, production over 500 kg/hrs without reducing unit production cost factors. Besides, in the MAT3 yarn accumulator, there is thread retainer capacity with 16 meter chute. ın this way, the TVP3 line makes high level of production with the new version. The advanced TVP3 is produced together in competence with‘IE3’ motors which reduce energy consumption.

New Technology for Artificial Turf

Superba, exporting 95 percent of its sales to more than 60 countries around the world, introduced its new continuous texturing machine called Greentex, which was developed for the artificial turf industry used especially in sports fields. The machine does not have any relationship with carpet manufacturing and it is considered with regards to flooring industry. It is stated that artificial turfs, which are valued as ecological products, are commonly being used in fields for sportive facility and in this aspect, the product appeals to a growing market. It is recorded that this market grows 10 percent annually in Europe and 20 percent in America. Different types of fiber types are used in artificial turf production. GREENTEX applies KDK – Knit de Knit process in order to texture the green yarns. In this production which is too expensive, complex and discontinuous, yarns are processed one by one. Th machine has a capacity of being able to texture PE, PP or PA yarns and to produce 1.5 tons daily.

The firm had introduced its innovative applications for upholstery industry in ITMA, 2011 as the first time. Recently, artificial turf is commonly used in sports fields such a rugby, hockey, tennis. It is preferred due to reasons sch as sustainability and easy set-up. While maintenance is reduced, it has an environment-friendly production.

Superba is Coming to İstanbul in November

Superba, developing innovative technologies for flooring industry in terms of carpet and artificial turf production, will attend Domotex Middle East fair which will be handled in İstanbul between 8-11 November, 2012. The firm will meet visitors from Turkey and adjacent regions with its flooring solutions in Saloon 9 Booth A100.
