Besides, exclusive carpet samples produced on ALPHA 400 series carpet weaving machines of Schönherr, which is the member of Stäubli, will be exhibited at the booth of Stäubli. In addition, the group that is preparing for ITM, will introduce the state-of-art electronic control solution s of another Group member DEIMO. Some of these machines will be able to observed in operation by the visitors. The officials of Stäubli, whom we, as Textil Dünyası, interviewed with throughout ITMA Barcelona, stated that ITM 2012 lacks an appropriate timing however they will participate in the fair – if they decide to- in order to exhibit their new technologies.
New Technologies Again With Stäubli
At the booth of the company, the new SX type electronic jacquard machine, which is an extremely versatile machine for wide application range, will be exhibited in a 2688 hook format together with harness as a demonstration unit. The LX32 electronic jacquard head, designed for weaving ribbons and labels, can operate with up to 448 hooks. The new generation rotary dobby type S3060/S3260, which has stood out with an evolutionary new locking system, is another important technology. The locking system is considered to be the heart of each dobby. The power of these electronic dobbies have an enchanced locking system, which ensures a superior reliability for the selection of their frames. As a result, a higher level of security enables a higher level of performance and leads to a superior reliability and higher running speeds. CS1, the positive control let-off motion, ensures equal tension for selvedge warp threads.
The warp tying machine MAGMA T12, designed for the medium and coarse yarn types, has been developed for the technical fabrics. The machine that can detect transparent yarns with its double-end optical system, offers solutions for tying monofilaments warps up to 0,5 mm in diameter for coating fabrics or filter fabrics, coarse multifilaments for conveyor belts, PP ribbons up to 5 mm for canopy and apron fabrics, coarse staple fibres up to 0,5 Nm for upholstery or carpets.
Stäubli also brings the warp tying machine TOPMATIC to Istanbul. The machine is equipped with the unique electronic double end detection that prevents tying of double ends also when tying flat sheets. Other examples of Stäubli products, Jacquard machines, dobbies, and cam motions can be seen at booths of Stäubli partners.
Schönherr’s Innovation in Carpet Technology
Schönherr, which is a part of Stäubli Group, operates at the production facilities located in Bayreuth and Chemnitz, Germany. In Istanbul, the company that is engaged in the production of carpet weaving machines, will introduce ALPHA 400, the most modern machinery used in the production of innovative area rugs and wall to wall carpets .
The company that offers a more extensive pattern possibilities and a higher flexibility, has developed modern carpet looms with modern technologies such as servo-cutting knives, servo-selvedge device or servo-dobbies. Using the servo-motors in jacquard machines is advantageous in creating new carpet qualities. Special carpet qualities with 900 reeds and 8 colors, have already been introduced at ITMA Barcelona 2011.
