Focusing on active warp and weft control systems with an understanding of development combining tradition and innovation, Staubli is to meet with Asia-based customers at the Cinte Techtextil exhibition. The most important product that the company is to demonstrate at the event is Magma T12 warp tying machine developed for technical and industrial fabric applications. Magma T12 is presented in a special design with an emphasis on durability. The machine, tying medium to coarse yarn types speeds up to 300 min-1, is suitable for multi-purpose use particularly in technical applications. Making a difference with its structure ensuring ease of use, the machine has a color screen for entering the current production parameters and for displaying system information. The thread-separation system within the machine reliably separates diverse yarns from the 1:1 lease. The machine does not require thread-specific separation needles or settings and therefore minimizes tying errors.
Magma T12 warp tying machine, developed for medium to coarse yarn types, offers high-quality solutions for technical fabrics. Recognizing even transparent yarns with its optoelectronic system for double-end detection, the machine makes easier tying warps with monofilaments up to 0.5 mm diameter for coated fabrics or filter media, coarse multifilaments for conveyor belts, bast fibres for shading or windbreaker fabrics, polypropylene tapes up to 5 mm wide for geotextiles or floorcoverings, coarse staple fiber yarns up to Nm 0.5 for upholstery or carpets.
The company has also updated the Magma machine with important technological studies. With the latest integrated innovations, Magma has been re-designed to tie both single and double knots; tie warps and connect yarns in a shorter time for the machine to work better.
Continues Success for 120 Years
Stäubli, providing mechatronics solutions with three divisions consisting of textile machinery, connectors, and robotics, has a powerful market with jacquard machines, dobbies and cam motions in the global market. Leaving behind 120 years in the industry, Staubli was founded in 1892 in Zurich, as a small textile workshop. Demonstrating its innovative aspect by obtaining the patent for a dobby machine for the weaving industry two months after its establishment, the company became operational in hydraulics and pneumatics in 1956. Founding of the Connectors division later on, the company continued development in this area and incorporated Multi-Contact, a manufacturer of high quality electrical connectors, in 2002. In 1982, Robotics, Staubli’s youngest division, was formed. This section expanded its product range with a wide array of market solutions, software and controllers.
Transformed into a Swiss-based international group, Staubli continues its activities with 4000 employees in 25 countries around the world today. In addition to the headquarter in Istanbul, Staubli offer textile, quick connectors and robotics services in Bursa, Gaziantep and Denizli branches with 40 employees in Turkey.
