A member of Jakob Müller Group as of October 8, the company is to maintain its activities under the name COMEZ International s.r.l. In the announcement, the names Jakob Müller Holding Chairman of the Board of Directors Christian Kuoni, Jakob Müller AG Frick Chief Financial Officer Bruno Bolliger and the director of COMEZ International s.r.l Paolo Banfi were included.
Having been included in Jacob Müller group which is one of the major manufacturers of textile machinery and technologies, COMEZ has been reported to continue to provide systems and solutions in the field of knitting without modifying machinery portfolio, quality standards and services. It has also been stated that the synergy effect of this new partnership between Jakob Müller and COMEZ is to support their efforts on their product portfolio and service issues.
According to the agreement, Jakob Müller Group has incorporated COMEZ Gestione; and Paolo Banfi is to continue as the director of COMEZ International S.r.L in the international arena. In addition, all activities of the Jakob Müller Group, other than the crochet and knitting segment, have been recorded to remain unchanged.
The Brand and Services of COMEZ are to Continue
In the published announcement titled The Future of COMEZ, Paolo Banfi thanks all the customers for their trust and continuing support throughout the last 5 years. Banfi said that their main objective was to perform as a technological market leader in the crochet and knitting field; and he added that the global economic downturn had a huge impact on COMEZ. Banfi said: “To maintain the excellent technological standard of COMEZ machines and services in the future, COMEZ had to rethink its market position and its entire operation. I am pleased to inform you that COMEZ and the Jakob Müller Group combine their business activities in the field of crochet and knitting machines.
Reminding that the company was to begin to provide product portfolio and services as of October 8th 2012 under the operation of COMEZ International s.r.l., Paolo Banfi announced that their contact and address information were to remain unchanged. Banfi expressed that he personally and all COMEZ employees would do their best to provide excellent quality machines and services to excel the expectations; and he added that all crochet and knitting products in their portfolio would be available in the future without exceptions. Whether the two brands are to continue under one roof or as two different representatives is reported to become clear in the next few months.
