ISKO™, the powerful denim brand of Sanko Holding, and INVISTA, owner of Lycra® fiber brand, made a succesful collaboration in Denim by Premiere Vision fair held between 23-24 May in France. ‘Up to Denim – Fit to Perfection’ platform, taking place in the fair by ISKO™ sponsorship, handled denim production process with all its aspects, from fiber and fabric to finishing operations. On the platform, to which attenders and visitors showed great interest, importance of using high quality raw material in producing denim that both fits the body and preserves its shape was emphasized. ISKO™ uses raw materials produced by Invista for high quality stretch fabrics, including LYCRA® fiber and LYCRA® T400® fiber.
Up to Denim booth, having hosted to Fit to Perfection platform, was shown great interest during the fair. Apart from Marco Lucietti, Marketing Director of ISKO, Chantal Malingrey-Perrin, Director of Denim by Premiere vision, Jean Hegedus, Invısta Global Marketing Ready Made Garment Director and other important industrial representatives attended in the press meeting on the booth handling jean production cycle. The iconic denim brands, Hudson, Haikure and Fornarina, exhibited the latest innovations they formed by using the fabric technologies ISKO REFORM™, ISKO RECALL™, TURBOTECH™, ISKO LOOM FX™ and ISKO FUTURE FACE™.
Marco Lucietti, Marketing Director of ISKO™, conveyed in his statement that ISKO and INVISTA sacrifice themselves for bringing innovative fabric concepts into the Turkish and the global market. Lucietti, saying that the fabric portfolio that ISKO™ developed by using LYCRA® T400® fiber is an example for this, implied that these fabrics provide middle level flexibility, excellent resistance and durability and present great altennatives for mens wear.
Durability and Comfort Desired in Mens Jeans
Jean Hegedus, Global Marketing Director of Invista Ready Made Garment, informed that denim fabrics made of fiber have more strength rate, less enlargement rate and more durable flexibility and shrinking rate when compared to the fabrics made of generic elastane. Hegedus said; “Higher power maintenance after bleaching operation is a very important process, especially clothes which stick on to body, like stretch jeans. ISKO™ has been on the first step until now in developing JEGGING™ fabric. As catching a right balance in flexibility, shrinking and re-collection rates is very important, the best choice is to make these fabrics with LYCRA® fiber”.
