Temsan Makine, one of the prominent companies that come to mind when talking about air conditioning both in Turkey and in the world, maintain its production at its own facilities with 50,000 square meters which it has started in 1960 with the production of agricultural machinery and spare parts. Temsan continues its success in the textile sector with Maritaş Denim and Maritaş Tekstil that it has earned in air-conditioning and related industries.
Temsan Makine, which has achieved great success by taking part in more than 2000 enterprises in the world with the fans it produces for the textile sector, has experienced huge savings in production with its new generation fans as a result of successful R&D studies. Talking about the technologies that have attracted great attention from the industry, Temsan Makine Board of Members Cem Kesim defined the point they have reached with the following, ‘’The Meeting of Turkish Engineering with the Best Raw Material."
Re-defining the Technological Standards in Air Conditioning, Temsan was frontrunner in setting up a system that could provide air-conditioning at a distance of 75 meters from one side, with the technology it has developed in 2007. This grand size has even further expanded to 105 meters in the latest projects. In the latest fan system developed by the company, with the innovative approach bring in to the textile production; it was noticeable that the point they have reached in energy efficiency strengthened by the most contemporary developments.
Energy Efficiency in New Standard Fans
With the expertise of Turkish engineering, making quality a tradition by using the world’s best raw materials, Temsan Makine can achieve great savings with energy-saving production by using efficient fans in its systems. All details of the system developed by Temsan are tried and tested in the laboratory environment under the same conditions as the enterprise before it is installed in the enterprise. In this way, from the moment it was established, businesses are ensured to operate at maximum efficiency with optimum energy consumption.
Kesim continued his wording with the following, ’’With our work at Temsan Makine R&D center, we continue to contribute to the sustainable quality and efficiency goals of our stakeholders’’ and said, ‘’In the air conditioning that is one of the key parameters in productivity, we are supporting companies in their efforts to comply innovative technological development strategies with the process work flow of enterprises by achieving designing and installing more than 2000 air handling units and filter systems for textile mills around the world’’ and continued, ‘’With the grant accessed from our Ministry of Industry and Technology to support research and development works at TEMSAN Makina R&D Center, within the scope of 1501 - TUBITAK Industry R&D Projects Support Program, it was made possible enable axial fans, which correspond to approximately 80% of the electrical energy exhausted in an air conditioning facility, to operate more efficiently. Thus, we are proud of not only achieving a number of successes as the pioneer on an industrial basis towards the design and optimization studies of these fans, but also marking our quality in this field.’’
Energy is the Most Important Expense Item in Businesses
Drawing attention to the importance of saving electrical energy, which is one of the important expense items of production and which increases proportionally in cost calculations day by day, Kesim said, “It has been verified by the results of our field studies that the products we produce in line with these studies can contribute significantly to our businesses in terms of energy savings.’’
Giving information about the progress of the project, Cem Kesim continued, “In the project, which is based on testing the numerical analysis results obtained with computer-aided CFD software in a real environment, the ANSI/AMCA 210-16 ANSI ANSI/ASHRAE 51-16 Standards which has been defined by Air Movement and Control Association (AMCA) and thanks to the Air Tunnel sized with reference to the standard and the system architecture that is designed and manufactured accordingly, performance tests of high efficiency fan blades, which are designed and piloted, are being carried out.
“What We Say Is Verified With Scientific Data”
Our Fan Performance Air Tunnel; It has the capacity to measure from 500 mm diameter to 1800 mm diameter, from 7.5 kW to 55 kW motor power, from 2,500 m3/h to 200,000 m3/h air flow and from 0 Pa to maximum 1,500 Pa static pressure. Thanks to the wide range of measurement capabilities of the air tunnel, all technical data of the fans can be measured precisely. Following the end of the AMCA/ANSI 210-16 accreditation process, the results of the measurements conducted in our center will have international validity with the approval from AMCA. Thanks to the Fan Performance Air Tunnel, which is an output of this important project realized by Temsan Makina, our R&D Center also provides an important assurance for the design development projects of Axial Fans with Low Noise Emission and Optimum Aerodynamic Efficiency, carried out at national and international level.’’
''We Offer the Perfect Air Conditioning System''
Cem Kesim, stating that their main purpose is to enable textile factories to produce at the highest efficiency, shared the following, ''As one of the largest manufacturers, we offer a complete process solution, efficient performance, energy savings and the highest reliability for the quality of the enterprise in the textile air conditioning system.” Kesim, ''Since 1960, they have been pursuing the latest technologies in order to ensure about perfect air conditioning systems, and accept know-how always as their main priority’’ and continued, “Thanks to our agencies all over the world, we stand by our customers and offer solutions to customer needs with effective and fast service solutions. Our project department and R&D center designs, develops and improves for the most suitable responses to meet customer requirements. With the support of our professional development team and collaborations with universities, we are always one step ahead with our design and automation innovations. This has been tested by numerous applications for almost 60 years. Temsan's group companies have more than 1000 employees skilled in providing quality output at every stage. Every employee in our group of companies is trained for a more sustainable workflow. As a leading global manufacturer, our main goal is to further expand our brand and continue to be a role model for the industry.''
''Our Obsession is 'Quality and Efficiency' ‘’
Kesim, “Efficiency cannot be achieved alone. Only when we act together are we productive. Everything depends on the actions of all the players in this game. We design, manufacture, install our products and collaborate with our customers to run them in the most efficient way. This links to the future of sustainability. This is also about our core values. “Better together” said Cem Kesim while underlining this concept as their priority, “This is why we value standing by our customers. After installing our products in your facility, our team provides on-site training for your employees to get maximum efficiency from your Temsan product. Our after-sales team regularly visits your businesses for maintenance and update training. We love our products that work at maximum efficiency.” Kesim concluded his speech with the following, “Temsan's smart automation solutions provide a flawless workflow and maximum efficiency thanks to our software and hardware development teams working in harmony to achieve the best. Temsan otomasyon is a tailored approach in the industry to maintain the highest existing standards. The main idea is to remain at maximum level in efficiency and even seek new ways to improve it. For this reason, Temsan Otomasyon team is at the heart of the facility and works with all data collected from all our group companies such as in Denim, Weaving, Spinning, Yarn-Dyeing. With the design and project team, this scope brings together the high level engineering and process knowledge.’’
