One of the world’s leading wide format ink-jet and printer/cutter equipment suppliers, Roland DG Corporation introduced its new 64 inch sublimation printing machine Texart RT-640 to the market. Specially developed for sublimated printing, Texart RT-640 offers superior quality, vivid colours and stable performance. RT-640 targets to add value to the visual communication sector with its diverse applications including textile, sign, and interior design, fashion and original products.
Outstanding printing quality
Using the new Texart ink of Roland DG, RT-640 offers bold and vivid colours as well as strong and rich blacks possessing delicate shades and interesting details. With the addition of orange and purple, it offers a wide range of colours by creating a perfect ink configuration with 8 colours.
RT-640 and Texart ink allows for consistent printing production by ensuring perfect colour stability. Thanks to the optimized printing control technology of RT-640, it is possible to achieve an image printing quality with a perfect resolution.
Production and Reliability
RT-640 has a practical print speed of 22,0 m2 /hour as well as a maximum print speed of 32,6 m2/hour. Optimized vacuum fan enables the transfer paper to remain flat during the process of printing. Besides, the newly designed Feed Adjuster at the front and back provides more tension and prevents skewing. In this way, the roll is delicately wound on the take-up reel and a smooth transition to the next heating process is ensured.
The new Roland Ink System allows for consistent printing at the same quality with one litre airtight sealed dye equipments and in 4-colour mode, the same colour is fed through 2 channels. Certified Roland Ink Switching System allows for continuous printing by automatically switching to the other ink pouch. In order to further accelerate the process, an empty pouch can be changed without stopping the printer.
New Software
Roland Texart RT-640 sublimation printing machine provides the users with the opportunity of making a choice between two professional software programs: Ergo Soft Roland Edition which supports all kinds of features peculiar to textiles and is in a well-deserved place in the textile printing industry and Roland Versa Works which is easy and intuitive to use even for the beginners.
Ergo Soft Roland Edition was developed by Ergo Soft, the leading software supplier in the textile printing industry, for Roland DG. The software which supports both 8-colour printing and 4-colour printing and has a perfectly high speed has numerous features particularly for digital textile production which combines production and image quality.
Providing support for 4-colour printing, Roland Versa Works combines its outstanding features with a unique ease of use. It is certain that even the first-time users will enjoy its intuitive control features. When only a medium profile is selected, the software manages colour correction and ink consumption.
