As a result of research conducted in recent years indicated that the plastisol dyes used in the textile are the reason of the negative effects of hormonal growth and sexual development and the use of such kind of dyes was also restricted in many countries. A new textile ink has been developed. It can be used instead of the plastisol dye constituting a major environmental health as well as human health.
Free textile ink, which has been developed by Kiian Technologies and can be used for all of the textile materials with its easy applicability and performance, includes high productivity features of plastisol ink and it does not include PVC or phthalates. Offering a smooth touch, Free is standing out with its matt finish feature such as water-based inks.
Wide Colour Range
Free, which can utilised for both synthetic and natural materials, has received OEKO-TEX Standard 1001 and GOTS2 certificates as a result of extensive testing performed on different climates and materials. Free, which combines such features as high-speed drying, high-volume production and wet production properties with its degree of opacity, can quickly dry under the flash light but not at room temperature. Thus, Free, which offering easy operation by eliminating the need for cleaning after production process, will be introduced to the market without requiring any further mixing, adding or special storage and application.
According to the results of the tests, Free includes transparent, opaque, fluorescent, processed and 3D transparent colours. "Free inks combine the productivity of conventional plastisols with the eco-friendliness of water-based inks, by offering both printers and brand owners the ultimate solution they have been looking for." said Frank Jellinek for “Free” which will be introduced into market under its Manoukian-Argon brand during the first months of 2015.
