Thanks to the innovative single drive technology of Autocoro 8 developed through the use of E3 technology, Saurer made a significant innovation in the field of rotor spinning. With Autocoro 8 which eliminates the barriers imposed by central belt drives, energy consumption resulting from the rotor drive in the traditional rotor spinning machines is reduced and the problem of increasing the speed in order to increase production is eliminated.
Energy Advantage
Thanks to its single drive technology and energy-optimised motors, Autocoro 8 consumes 20 % less energy when compared to the traditional belt drive machines at the same rotor speed. On Autocoro 8 where energy consumption is reduced at high speeds, energy requirement per kilogram, for example for a weaving yarn of a count of Ne 20 spun at a rotor speed of 160.000 rpm is less than 1 kWh. The higher the speed is in Autocoro 8, the more it saves energy and thus, both productivity and economy of the companies are increased.
Economy advantage
Autocoro 8 ensures saving by preventing idle running during lot changes and sample package winding thanks to its Seamless Lot Change and PilotSpin features. With the feature of integrated yarn piecing through SyncroPiecing which reduces waiting times and increases machine efficiency, Autocoro 8 can achieve a more efficient production thanks to the spinning settings needed at higher take-up speed and piecing cycles. Being able to winding at least 10 % more yarn on each package with the same package diameter thanks to DigiWinding, Autocoro 8 also reduces packaging and shipping costs in the spinning mills.

On Autocoro 8 where full-automatic and continuous lot change can be made, the capacity of detecting incorrectly inserted tubes during the spinning of several lots at once and minimising the production lost to occur from the operating errors stands out. In Autocoro 8 where maintenance and clearing costs are also reduced owing to the single drive technology, spinning units can be maintained individually section by section without the need to shut down the entire machine.
