DeniLite Cold, which is developed by international biotech company Novozymes, consumes less energy and water without any need for high temperature during the denim bleaching process. The new cold bleaching solution is based on enzymes known as peroxidases, and this innovation is formulated to work without extra oxygen from either air or water. This new peroxidase has a very rapid reaction speed - 90% of the reaction finishes within 10 minutes. The cold bleaching technology also secures improved fabric durability thanks to the gentle bleaching conditions and different colour tones can be achieved with the same fabric using different dye combinations.
Reverse Dyeing
Besides, DeniLite Cold prevents the problem of reverse dyeing which emerges when dark colours are washed in fabrics containing a high amount of dyestuff and reduces the use of dispersing material used in order to keep indigo dyestuff suspended within the bath. Ensuring a cleaner surface by increasing the rinse washing period and passages, DeniLite Cold also helps adjusting the harshness of the water. Thanks to the neutral enzyme that DeniLite Cold contains, the problem of reverse dyeing is eliminated.
Breakage and Barre
In DeniLite Cold which helps to reduce breakage problem occurring in the desizing stage which is the starting point of wet processes, denim fabric covered by desizing agent helps softening the harsh touching. Also helping minimising barré problem which occurs in situations where desizing is not conducted homogeneously, DeniLite Cold becomes effective in decreasing the colour fluctuations resulting from careless implementation of such processes as hypo, permanganate and resin.
