Dilo Displays its Nonwoven Production Line at ITMA

Manufacturing technologies for nonwoven sector, Dilo Group will exhibit fibre preparation like opening and blending from Dilo Temafa, card and card feeding from Dilo Spinnbau and crosslapper and needlelooms at ITMA Milano. Dilo will establish a complete production line specially developed for geotextile applications and will be the focus of interest at ITMA.

BTDL bale opener from Dilo Temafa developed for long fibres in the complete production line and carding willow KW which is design for processing long fibres and yields better results in preopening and blending even at high production capacity will be introduced. KW ensures reduced cleaning times with its longer cleaning intervals and new design elements.

Since VRS-P feeder to be offered in the production line combines the principle of volumetric precisely charged feeding with the features of a vibration chute feeder, there is no need to use large conventional trunk on the upper part. In this way, VRS-P ensures that fibres are distributed more homogeneously and in a better manner and displays a compact structure thanks to its low ceiling height.

While fibre flock is fixed with vacuum at the entrance apron of the machine for a better distribution, distribution over the working width can be controlled thanks to additional flaps. Owing to VRS series which is suitable for medium-fine to coarse staple fibres, energy consumption is minimised.

VectorQuadroCard

The newly developed card VectorQuadroCard runs with the latest modular transfer groups between breast and main section. Flexibility and quick change of these transfer groups makes three types of carding possible. Type VQ-Q with Quattro group in order to strengthen web evenness and fibre blending can make double transfer between preopener and main cylinder and two doffers and two transfer rollers. Type VQ-V increases production by using doubling effect between transfer roller and lower transfer roller and between preopener and main cylinder with a top doffer and Type VQ-T uses only one transfer roller between preopener and main cylinder. VQC model series uses 4 worker pairs of rollers on the preopener and 5 worker pairs on the main cylinder. Furthermore, delivery system is flexible and can be combined with different variations. VectorQuadroCard whose global model series for all kinds of applications contains different components can achieve high quality web even when it is used at the highest performance.

DLSC 200

The new crosslapper Super DLSC 200 can reach an electro-mechanical speed up to 200 meters per minute in web feeding speed depending on the fibre type. It aims at reducing possible bottleneck for the production of the total installation. Dilo’s crosslapper also includes CV1A web regulation system which proved itself and improves evenness of needle felt with fibre amount preservation. This high feeding speed has been made possible by increasing drive power with 3 aprons and layering technology. All drives for the aprons and the layering carriages are direct water-cooled torque motors that improve the acceleration with reduced gear wear. In addition to this, there are special measures to eliminate and decrease apron vibrations so that webs constitute an exact web overlapping. Further, there is a web guiding system for preventing wrinkles that can occur during speed changes. Web feeding width is 3.2 meters while layering width is 7 meters.

DI LOOM AB

After the crosslapper system, Dilo will introduce DI-LOOM OD-II AB, the new needling loom model with CBF feeding system. While designing this series, Dilo focused on the cost effectiveness in the preneedling machines. DI-LOOM AB model series are highly suitable in terms of price-performance rate.

DCL Dilo Compact Line

In addition to large needling lines for the ergonomic production of bulky products like geotextiles, Dilo will also introduce its compact lines designed for the production of small amounts of high quality felts used in medical sector and special felts manufactured out of fibres such as carbon at ITMA. The working width of the compact carding machine is 1.1 meters while its layering width is 2.2 meters.

X22

Needlelooms of compact lines are the first places where needle modules are used. This technology was designed with 20 thousand needles for intensive needling of Hyperpunch and Cyclopunch model series in particular. The compact needleloom has a module technology arranged like a classical fishbone where each module consists of 22 needles.  In the graphical simulation, needle modules are used and “modulemaster” shows automatic insertion of needle boards. In X22 module technology, entrance rate and precision was increased according to single needle entrance.

VPX 2020

New Variopunch technology uses modified needle module technology that can erase bad spots in the felt using different needles to ensure homogeneous distribution of stitches. Principles of totally new needling technology VPX 2002 will be displayed with a graphic simulation. Variopunch allows for a highly homogeneous stitch distribution for a better surface quality in automotive applications.
