
WACKER POLYMERS increased its prices for VINNAPAS® vinyl acetate-ethylene and VINNOL® ethylene-vinyl chloride-based copolymer dispersions in the United States of America. In the price tariff effective as of on 15 February 2014; prices increased up to five percent per wet pound, or as customer contracts allowed.
Wacker, which is the leader and driving force of the market in the development of VAE copolymer dispersions that are indispensible components in many applications of the present day in such industries of carpet, adhesives, architectural coating and nonwoven, attributed the prices increases to continuously rising raw material prices. Wacker Polymers announced that they made the price adjustments in order to provide customers a wide-range of innovative quality products and comprehensive technical, sales and customer support services.
