Most Exports in Weaving Yarn Machines
Textile and apparel machinery and accessories are defined within the framework of Customs Tariff Statistics Position Chart (GTİP) for years. The technologies that concern textile and apparel sectors, which are numbered with Standard International Trade Classification in GTİP, are listed in detail. According to TurkStat data, the most exports of 411 million 588 thousand 76 dollars with the code GIPP 8451 weaving yarns, textiles washing, cleaning, drying, ironing, winding, folding and similar functions are used on the machines. In the same period of 2018, it exported 380 million dollars.
The number 8444 of GTİP includes the machines used for drawing and texturing synthetic or artificial materials suitable for weaving under the name of machines that produce, weave, and cut fibers. The export of this machine item is seen as 820 thousand 695 dollars in the first nine months of 2018. In the same period of 2019, the export figure increased by 102 percent to 1 million 661 thousand 265 dollars.
In the export of textile machinery, the export figures of the machines that produce fibers, which are defined by the GTIP number 8445, produce yarn and prepare yarn have increased to 2018. Exports, which were 23 million 223 thousand dollars in 2018, amounted to 30 million 968 thousand 666 dollars in 2019. Weaving looms covering the number of GTİP 8446 machines, in January-October 2018, a total of 15 million 515 thousand 582 dollars, in the same period of 2019 increased by 20 percent was 18 million 764 thousand 627 dollars.
Knitting Machines Sales Decline
The knitting looms, handgrip, tulle, lace, net and various devices for the production of knitting looms, numbered 8447 of the GTİP list, constitute another item of the textile export sector. Exports of these machines, which were realized as 11 million 174 thousand dollars in January-October last year, decreased slightly in 2019 and realized as 11 million 363 dollars. Ratiers and jacquards are listed as 8448; machines for reducing, replicating, piercing or combining jacquards, auxiliary machines for spinning machines for weaving yarns, producing nozzles, there is a decline in the group of other components and parts of textile fiber preparation machines and spindles for textile fiber preparation machines. In January-October period of 2018, 24 million 635 thousand dollars of exports, in 2019 was 22 million 140 thousand dollars.
