With its daily production capacity of 120 million leaves, Sapro manufactures for over a thousand brands and announced its financial figures for 2019. The company closed the year 2019 with a total of 140 million Euros of turnover together with its group companies.
The company aiming to have a bigger growth rate in the forthcoming year is going to increase its production for 2020 that is currently 330 million in baby towels, 96 million in pocket wipes and 1 billion 800 million units in single wipes.
The Founder Partner of Sapro, Mr.Ceyhun Zincirkıran made comments about the year 2010, “We had a tough year. We maintained our costs under control due to competition, foreign Exchange currency and raw material prices. Despite all these, we maintained our growth rate and achieved a growth by 12%,” he said.
“We have a Growth Rate Target for the America Continent”
In order to reach an advantageous position in 2020 in terms of competitiveness, Zincirkıran indicated that they had especially accelerated their Industry 4.0 and automation studies, “We are accrediting our R&D department. Particularly, we have a growth rate target for the America Continent. In addition, we would like to have our own trademark at an e-trade platform,” he said sharing their targets for 2020.
“Our Production Requires Comprehensive R&D Activities”
The Founder Partner of Sapro, Mr.Ceyhun Zincirkıran stated that they follow the technology closely so as to manufacture the better, “All the activities and production conducted by our Group requires comprehensive R&D activities. It is essential that we develop products compliant with the EU and international standards. Thus, we have an R&D philosophy applied with professionals being experts in their fields. We have launched artificial intelligence studies enabling all machineries in the line to communicate and create data. Our project connected to automation still continues,” he said.
