Germany-based SAATI SpA, one of the leading manufacturers of the world in the field of printing technologies, purchased the majority of the shares of SPT Sales & Marketing GmbH Company. The sales agreement was signed between Paolo Parrini, General Director of SAATI Deutschland GmbH, and Jochen Rentzsch, General Director of REMCO-CHEMIE Rentzsch GmbH. After this procedure, SAATI happened to incorporate FOTECO and REMCO brands into its product portfolio for serigraphy.

SPT will carry out its operations in Europe, Middle East and Africa from the plants in Heidelberg, Germany. Ralf Roschlau, General Director of SPT which will conduct its production in its existing factories stated that their being purchased by SAATI is the indicator of the ever-increasing importance of the printing sector and added that, “We are proud of being a part of SAATI. We will carry our brand to higher positions owing to our know-how and potential.”

Following the agreement signed, Paolo Parrini stated that they reinforced the position of SAATI with SPT in the field of serigraphy and added that, “We believe that serigraphy will reach a greater potential in the upcoming period. In this sense, this merger is of great importance in terms of the future plans of SAATI.” Jochen Rentzsch also expressed his satisfaction about this long-term partnership with SAATI and said that, “This partnership will create a significant synergy by making great contributions to our coating and cellulosic varnish raw material supply process included in our main business unit.”
