Pegas Nonwovens Was Successful in 2012

Pegas Nonwoven SA, one of the prominent companies of Europe in terms of nonwoven production, declared its 2012 profit. The company stated that its consolidated revenue increased 13.2%, which is equal to 187.7 million €, in comparison to previous year. This increase of company’s revenue in comparison to previous year is seen as the effect of the increase in the sales of production line, which was put into practice in 2011’s second half. Besides, the increase that the company achieved in 2012’s 4th quarter in comparison to the same period of the previous year draws attention. In 2012’s 4th quarter, the company’s consolidated revenue increased 20,2%, which is equal to 47.6 million €, in comparison to 2011.

When looking on Pegas Nonwoven’s activity profit, it is 26.5 million € in 2012. When this number is compared to 2011, there is a 1,2% decrease. 2012 net profit increased 49,8%, which is equal to 20,9 million €, in comparison with the previous year. CEO and a Member of the Board of Pegas Nonwovens Sa Frantisek Rezac, making evaluations about the issue, stated that they had a profitable period as a result of the production line which is provided in 2011. Stating that in spite of the problems faced in 2012’s last quarter, they protected the stability in terms of growth, Rezac told “Although we are behind the program, we care about the results taken under difficult global conditions.”

The Works in Egypt Continues at Full Steam

Frantisek Rezak mentioned that they made an important progress in production facility projects in Egypt in 2012. Stating that this project is their first investment outside of Czechoslovakia, Rezac stressed that they have a great chance to take important steps. Telling that they started investment process in order to reach to the customers in the markets of North Africa, Middle East and Asia, Rezac continued as: “in 2013 firstly, we are planning to put the production line into practice completely in Egypt. The importance of efficiency in production and commercializing the technical projects are some of the important issues. With the increase in the production capacity and the extended product portfolio, we expect a development in 2013’s financial results and a 5-15% growth in comparison to the previous year.

Mentioning that they ensure costumer satisfaction as one of the prominent nonwoven producers of the sector, Frantisek Rezak told that Pegas Nonwoven Sa’s whole production will be demanded in 2013. Rezac said: “The fact that the products put on markets fast will bring us success in 2013 as well. I think our successful works in 2012 will continue in the next year as well.”
