Oerlikon Neumag presented its nonwoven portfolio at Since 2013 fair held in Shanghai, China, on 23-25 October with important technical applications. Since 2013 Shanghai International Nonwoven Fair whose 15th edition was held this year constituted a guide for the Chinese nonwoven industry. Manufacturers following the growing Chinese technical textile market showed a great interest in the fair. Becoming more and more active in the Asian market every passing period, the firm managed to draw the attention of the Asian manufacturers with its high tech products in the fair.
Fibre production volume of the People’s Republic of China reached 36.1 million tons with a growth of 60 % in the last 4 years. This share corresponds to 65 % of the world market. Oerlikon Group expanded its production capacity in the country owing to its investments.
New Solutions from Neumag and Barmag
Market tends to demand thinner and more efficient nonwoven products. In exchange for this demand, Oerlikon Neumag expanded its nonwoven product portfolio and developed more efficient products reducing the production costs considerably. Nonwoven Sales Director of Oerlikon Neumag, Ed McNally, stated that they consider the benefits of clients and added that: “These developments are determined in line with the demands of nonwoven manufacturers and ensure that new or existing spunbond products reach the market at lower cost but at higher quality.”
Oerlikon Barmag offers special solutions for industrial textiles including security clothes, security belts, air bags, sail, fishing nets, conveyor bands, hose and rope thanks to Winoro and Wintax machines that it designed. These models developed by Barmag allow for energy saving in addition to yarn quality and efficiency for industrial yarn systems.
Oerlikon is at Techtextil India
Oerlikon Barmag and Oerlikon Neumag presented a wide application range for industrial yarn at Techtextil held in Bombay, India, on 3-5 October 2013. Pure diversity of the industrial textile was emphasized in the international trade fair for industrial textile and nonwoven. Oerlikon Artificial Fibres exhibited its new nonwoven production methods by producing solutions for the efficient production of innovative yarns with highly special applications. In this respect, Oerlikon offered its solutions and technologies to the global yarn manufacturers and the Indian market, in particular.
