New Nonwoven Investment from Sandler

As one of the leading firms of global nonwoven production, Sandler purchased a new production line. After a four-month mounting stage, the firm is expected to start manufacturing. This investment which will develop the capacity of current VS 61 production line also covers the meltblown media production. Among the basic features of new investment, the possibility of processing various thermoplastic raw materials and its equipment with a different nozzle system stand out.

Since 2003, Sandler has stood out with its investments. Spunlace plant also stands out when the recent investments are considered. With this investment made in 2003, the firm focuses on disposable dry and wet towel production. When it comes to 2005, a new production line was established for automotive, filtration and flooring furnitures. In 2006, this line also acquired a similar capacity increase. In 2007, a second carded spunlace line investment was made. In 2010, studies were conducted for capacity increase in carded spunlace line. Except for these, the same year, a new plant was established with “werk 4”. The firm which was established by Christian Heinrich Sandler in 1879 firstly manufactured parts of flooring furnitures. The firm which has an history of 133 years ranks among the biggest 10 nonwoven manufacturers in the global arena. The firm also stands out as one of the first 5 manufacturers of Europe.
