Non-woven surface fabrics are preferred in almost all areas of the industry sector. The functionality of non-woven surface fabric products, which can be used in many areas from healthcare to the construction industry, is always expected to offer a 100 percent guarantee. At this point, the production phase should be flawless. Important parameters in the production process are specified as weight, moisture or layer thickness per unit area. With its installed system solutions, Mahlo offers its users’ reliable values. The German machinery manufacturer helps manufacturers and end users achieve first-class quality standards and maximum productivity in production.
New Technologies Will Be Introduced At The Fair
Mahlo will participate at the Index 2020, the leading trade fair in the field of nonwoven fabrics, which will be held in Geneva, Switzerland, between 20-23 October, with its measurement and control technologies upgraded with the innovative perspective. In the fair, where many new technologies related to the sector were introduced, the company will introduce state of the art systems and its’ offerings, especially the Qualiscan QMS-12 current sensor development technology, as well as the existing solution alternatives. The modular system of German machine manufacturer Mahlo, including sensors and measuring frames, measures, records and controls critical parameters such as basic weight, moisture or layer thickness over the entire width of the fabric. Depending on the application and specific task, different measurement methods are used for this purpose. X-ray and beta radiation, white light interaction or near infrared measurement options are also on stage. Infralot IMF-T version, on the other hand, is used as the transmission method for basic weight and humidity sensor measurement. Infralot IMF-T offers the ideal solution for thicker materials up to 500 g / m². In addition, unlike conventional methods, distribution is provided with a filter wheel in constant motion
