Recognised by its production of warp knitting machines, LIBA continues producing its new technologies with its experience of 60 years. Making a presentation in VDMA’s conference titled “German Technology Meets with Turkish Textile”, Naci Oğuzlu, who is the sales director of LIBA for Turkey and Middle East, gave important information to the Turkish manufacturers.
Delivering his speech under the title of “LIBA’s Warp Knitting Technologies for Geotextiles and Composite Reinforcement Structures”, Naci Oğuzlu was followed closely by many professionals. Focusing on such issues as the structure of the firm and its production in the first section, Oğuzlu touched upon the technological innovations that they brought to the textile sector in the next sections. Oğuzlu introduced Copcentra HS 2 ST, Copcentra MAX 4, Copcentra MAX 5, DG 506 – 30- 2 HS technologies and their usage areas to the firms, respectively. Naci Oğuzlu especially focused on geotextile applications and structures reinforced with composite in the presentation.
Aiming at promoting the German brand to the whole world, LIBA serves with its sales and service offices found in the USA and China outside the Bavaria Region. Having its production center in Naila Region of Germany, LIBA employs 365 people in Germany and 420 people throughout the world. The firm has certain significant R&D investments in order to speed up its future studies. In the R&D department of the company, 55 people work. LIBA, also, develops technologies for the production of geotextiles and high performance fibers which have been used in ground works for more than 25 years. Besides, LIBA has been conducting studies in the fields of automotive and the use of wind force. About 200 multiaxial machines of LIBA are actively used throughout the world. Tricot machine, raschel machine, warp weft machines and spinner are among the innovative products of the firm. Basically, LIBA manufactures machinery in the fields of woven, nonwoven and knitting.
