Extra Solutions to Nonwoven Production from ANDRITZ

ANDRITZ is offering special solutions to the nonwoven production in the sector of textile. The firm will take place in Cinte Techtextil from 22 to 24 October and meet the clients with its high technology products. The firm will take its place at the booth N5B21 with its brands of ANDRITZ Küsters, ANDRITZ Asselin-Thibeau and ANDRITZ Perfojet. ANDRITZ is planning to complete a successful event in China which is one of the leading actors of the global market.

Spunlace Lines for Special Practices

ANDRITZ Perfojet is getting ready to offer Jetlace Evolution machine that it designed for durable productions such as filtration surfaces. Jetlace unit focuses on efficiency in a wide range for high capacity and industrial applications. This machine is also designed to be integrated ideally with the carding and cross-lapper from ANDRITZ Asselin-Thibeau. ANDRITZ Küsters also made a new design for delicate technical textile production with high density. This new system announced with the name of Texcal Trike is a 3-roll calender with S-Roll, Xpro Roll and heated steel roll in a triangular roll arrangement.

This system allows extremely flexible production by using one or two nips. Both nips are individually adjustable without influencing the other nip’s deflection characteristics. In comparison to standard 3-roll calenders with vertical roll arrangement, the teXcal Trike reduces seam loss to a minimum. With regard to the continuously increasing process requirements in the production of technical textiles, the proven deflection control of the S-Roll is combined with additional zone control in the Xpro Roll. Application fields of the machine include sail cloth, woven monofilament/multifilament fabrics, filters, parachute and silk. ANDRITZ Asselin-Thibeau is offering its latest innovation in the cross-lapping technology with ACS System. Besides, in Cinte 2012, ProDyn technology will be the focus of the firm. This technology will provide an important advantage for manufacturers when it is combined with A50 needle loom series, in particular.

ANDRITZ Küsters Will Stand Out with the New Calendering Technology

ANDRITZ Küsters continues offering new technologies to the market of technical textiles with the new application prepared for nonwoven and paper industry. One of the leading suppliers throughout the world, ANDRITZ Küsters targets to increase its market share with its new calendering concept.

While it was explained that the firm established a pilot plant in Krefeld, Germany about Xcal trike which is the latest technology of the firm, it was also announced that the firms could carry out trials about the technology whose patent application was still in process. The sail cloth, parachute silk, outerwear, sun creams, filter materials or protective technical textile products yield high efficiency and flexibility. In the important explanation made by Tobias Schafer, the Sales Director of ANDRITZ Küsters, it was stated that this innovation in the field of calendering also drew attention of clients. Expressing that TeXcal trike would bring acceleration to the sector, Schafer emphasized that they produced a system which could even be demanded during the testing phase.
