Autefa Solutions, which offers the printing, cutting and automation technologies for the production of nonwovens, expands its product range of thermally bonded nonwoven. The company's range of machines will include the equipment for thermal bonding, drying, cutting and winding. For that purpose, Autefa established Autefa Solutions Switzerland AG which is based in Lengwil, Switzerland. From the holders of the rights of the insolvent Strahm Hi-Tex System AG licenses for the relevant intellectual property rights and the trade mark rights have been obtained. The employees, who work in management, sales and engineering departments of StrahmHi-TexSystem, will continue to work in the new established company.
CEO of Autefa Solutions Group, Dr. Stefan Schlichter made the following assessments: “With this strategic expansion of our product program, we are now able to offer turnkey lines also in the field of thermally bonded nonwovens and for applications in drying technology. Offering machines for the nonwoven production from the beginning to the end, the company offers solutions to the clients for integrated production from the raw material to the end product under 4 companies including Autefa Group, For, Octir, Autefa and Hefrer.
Autefa will perform its purchasing, R & D, product and sales operations for new product solutions in Lengwil (Switzerland) and the installation of the product will be made in Germany. Schlichter stated that they want to combine the production and sales knowledge of Swiss specialists with reliable German assembly team. The specialized team of Autefa Solutions Switzerland, which will operate under the umbrella of Autefa, will provide the customers with opportunity of increasing their current potential and developing their lines.
