Technological Heart of Turkish Textile: Machines

In the first half of 2012, under this heading, dyeing machinery used in the textile sector was the main product group with $ 18 million. Dyeing machines were followed by finishing and roller coat machines with $ 14.7 million; drying machines with $ 6 million and parts and components of other textile machinery with $ 8 million.

With the number 84.52 in the GTIP list, weaving machines, furniture, needles, parts and components form the last textile machinery and equipment product group. Domestic sewing machines, other non-motorized sewing machines and heads, motorized sewing machines and heads, automatic unit sewing machines, other sewing machines, sewing machine needles, sewing machine furniture and cases, and other machinery and parts are counted in this group. In the first half of 2012, other sewing machines with $ 48.5 million, motorized sewing machines with $ 7 million and automatic unit sewing machines with $ 3 million were under this heading.
