Kahramanmaraş Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KMTSO) that preferred the organisation of our Magazine Group and Fuar Tour for ITMA Milano fair represented Turkey with a 106-person delegation in Italy. Kemal Karaküçük, Chairman of KMTSO; Hanifi Öksüz, President of Assembly; Serdar Zabun, Vice Chairman of the Governing Board; Salih Ziya Gümüşer, Ertuğrul Korkut Tanrıverdi and Hüseyin Özdal, the members of the Governing Board; and businessmen made significant contacts during the fair.
We Are About to Reach Our Targets
Making an explanation at the fair, Kemal Karaküçük, Chairman of KMTSO, stated that they take part in ITMA in order to adapt to the global economy with an innovative understanding and added that, “We pay great importance to this fair in order to get one step closer tour targets. Kahramanmaraş, which exported textile products at the amount of 615 million USD and garment products at the amount of 70 million USD in 2014, targets to make new investments with new technologies. In this way, speed, quality and energy efficiency are increased. We supply the needed technology from these fairs in order to increase these figures. We support our production via R&D.”
Stating that Kahramanmaraş has a strong potential in the textile and garment sectors, Karaküçük added that, “We renew our technology track every day in order to turn the innovative understanding we have achieved in many sectors into quality production. An outstanding synergy emerges especially when technological infrastructure and experience are combined. As Kahramanmaraş, we will continue our productivity in all sectors.”
Mem Tekstil Project with Mayer&Cie
Within the scope of the project carried out with Mayer&Cie listed among the technology giants of the world, Mayer&Cie gave place to Karaküçük in its booth and expressed their opinion with respect to the establishment of a knitted fabric enterprise within Mem Tekstil. Karaküçük expressed his thanks to the authorities of Mayer&Cie both for the cooperation made within the scope of the project and the importance given to Kahramanmaraş in the name of Mem Tekstil at the booth of Mayer&Cie at such a big fair as ITMA.
