SASA, Turkey's leading and the world's pioneering polyester manufacturer, applied for membership to the Experiential Artificial Intelligence and Digitalization Research Center ZEKI (Zentrum für erlebbare Künstliche Intelligenz und Digitalisierung) operating in Berlin, in order to benefit from artificial intelligence in all its systems and processes.
A figure from the field of science, under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Şahin Albayrak, also the founder of the center, ZEKI delegation achieved visits to the facilities of SASA in Adana and received information on the production and management processes. During the visit to Adana, Prof. Albayrak was accompanied by a team of science figure assigned to separate areas at the center. The delegation compiled data on the production processes in different areas whom visited the whole facility including the SASA's new investment PTA facilities.
Digital Security of Production will Be Ensured
After the visit, with the protocol undersigned by İbrahim Erdemoğlu and Prof. Şahin Albayrak, SASA applied to become a member of the center in Berlin. ZEKI, of which Germany's world-renowned companies and public institutions are of its members, focuses on concrete applications of artificial intelligence in daily life.
Within the framework of its collaboration with ZEKI, SASA plans to implement artificial intelligence applications in many areas, from increasing efficiency in production processes to maximizing the conditions of its employees, in the coming years. The company will also work on the digital security of production processes that are currently largely dependent on automation.

SASA Board of Chairman İbrahim Erdemoğlu, who personally welcomed the ZEKI delegation during the visit, stated that SASA uses the world's most advanced production technologies and processes in its field and that the PTA facility, which will be put into service in the coming period, has been the best example of this.
Erdemoğlu continued his wording as follows; "With our collaboration with ZEKI, we plan to fully digitalize our systems and processes and benefit from artificial intelligence in all possible areas. Thus, while increasing our production efficiency to the highest possible level, we will be able to allocate more resources to innovation. SASA will continue to invest in innovation and continuous development, as it has done so far."
