We will considerably raise our investments and pull up our efforts in the field of recycling at an exponential rate. These practices will prevail in all of our businesses.”

Stating that they are on negotiations with a world-renowned fashion brand on the product range they get into from recycled materials, Balcıoğlu said,’’ We are one of the two companies in Turkey with Oeko-Tex Made in Green certificate. Our recycling collection is highly appreciated by the brand and we are in close contact with them. We pursue critical processes in our manufacturing eliminates carbon footprint. We have adopted the principle of contributing to the circular economy.’’ In addition, the group, which has current investments in renewable energy, aims to meet all its energy needs from renewable energy until 2025.
With the latest investment made by BLC Group, 75% of the wastewater in the enterprise is treated in a way that it can be reused. This system also ensures that liquid waste is not thrown into the nature by eliminating waste discharges. The certificates of BLC Group, which support sustainable development at every stage of production and afterwards, are role models as follows; Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), Global Recycled Standard (GRS), Organic Content Standard (OCS), Recycled Content Standard (RCS), Higg Index, OekoTex STeP, OekoTex Made in Green, Zero Disposal of Hazardous Chemicals (ZDHC).
