Inter Tekstil (ITEKS), is the representative of many important brands in the field of textile finishing, dyeing and printing machinery. With the brands it represents, ITEKS, which has been applied for pre-sales, sales and after-sales services since 1984 by those who invest in the sector, has a strong position in the sector. Brückner, which is one of the brands within ITEKS, stands out with its fabric drying and fixing machines (stenters), tieless fabric drying machines, sanforizing machines, technical textile plants (coating and laminating lines); drying machines with nonwoven belts, heat recovery facilities, exhaust air cleaning system, heart recovery systems and exhaust air cleaning units.
The other brands and their machines represented by ITEKS are as follows; Erhardt+Leimer with weft straigthener, tubular fabric cutting and rope opening machines, Fong’s with bobbin dyeing and drying machines, Stork Prints with rotary and digital printing systems, Goller, the continuous finishing facility producer, Then with Airflow fabric dyeing machines. GSE Dispensing with textile paste dispensers, Lacom, the manufacturer of laminating and coating machines, Osthoff-Senge with singeing machines and Ramisch Guameri with various types of calender.
Mehmet Özcan, General Manager of İTEKS, said that rather than making new investments in the textile sector in 2011, they made modernization investments that increase product diversity and quality. “We see that technologies for decreasing the production costs are preferred in these investments. Official demand for environmental protection, which has recently been on the increase and require the textile manufacturers to take more challenging measures, make different solutions to be searched for investments and machine selection,,” said Özcan.
Özcan emphasized that the return process of the investments made in this period takes about 4 or 5 years. Özcan also specified the criteria that the investors started to pay attention; Fair values in machines (…/kg fabric). Less gas, electricity, steam and water consumption. The ability to perform the production for the first time and accurately using the machine. Machine’s ability to perform continuous and trouble-free production. Full support especially in technical field and in service by the machinery manufacturer and the representative in Turkey. Machine’s technology and hardware that help keeping the environment clean.”
İTEKS Increased Its Sales in 2011
Stating that an acceleration was observed in the investments in 2011, especially as a result of the motivation created by ITMA, Özcan said that an increase has also been observed in weaving machine purchases as the reducing applications have been imposed on the fabric imports from the Far Eastern countries and the demand turned to the domestic market. However Özcan stated that the machine purchases in dyeing-finishing and printing fields didn’t catch up with the same speed. Özcan also evaluated the sales made by İTEKS by saying; “Rather than for the new investments in this field, the demand was for capacity increases and investments made for quality enhancement and cost reduction. Throughout this year, Brückner stenter sales maintained their standard market rate and POWER-RELAX, Brückner’s new free dryer, entered the market. With its long shape ECO8 and ECO88 machines, Fong’s reached its sales target again in 2011. This year, a significant increase was also observed in the demand for THEN Air Flow. This technology, which requires the lowest liquor rate in the dyeing of both knitted and woven fabrics, can perforn dyeing more quickly compared to its competitors. With less chemical and water consumotion,iIt also provides a higher quality and accurate production.”
Özcan stated that in 2011, the singeing machine of Osfthoff continued to be preferred thanks to the yarn counts that get thinner and the new applications for the knitted fabrics with a higher accuracy and quality. Özcan emphasized that the technical textile production accelerated in 2011 and investments continued to be made in the fields like carpet and fabric coating. Özcan remarked that they expect this trend to continue also in 2012. “Brückner, which has a great experience in complete facility projecting, manufacturing and applications in this field, LANCOM in hot melt lamination machines, Ramisch Guameri in calenders and ETF in roll-fold and packaging automation, are our important suppliers,” said Özcan.
Eco-Friendly and Saving Machines are Prefered
Mehmet Özcan stated that they expect the modernization investments to be continued in the field of dyeing, printing and finishing in 2012 and he argued that the expected new investments will also be made in this period. Stating that the new machine models that will be brought to İstanbul during ITM 2012, which will be held in April, will attract the textile manufacturers’ interest, Özcan remarked that because of the existing economic conditions the return processes of the investments made in this period take about 4 or 5 years. “Due to the economic conditions we’ve been through, the return processes of the investments take about 4-5 years.nThe textile manufacturers’ choice for machinery depends on several new and different points. Considering the rapidly changing fashion demands, accurate production in one go, fast shipping, production in short quantities, at lowest cost (despite especially the rising energy costs) and with a wide product range are the new demands on environmental awareness,” said Özcan.
Stating that these criteria have become more important than the machinery prices, Özcan remarked that machinery expenses in the long run are more effective than the ticket prices. Özcan continued by saying; “The price is a machine that provides 10 percent saving in consuption compared to its competitors, is not expensive. Another important point in the investment machines is the system that can fully work and utilize the functions of quality mechanical production and high automation. The harm caused on the facility by the machines that frequently malfunction and make start-stops is much more serious than it supposed to be.”
Özcan emphasized that they believe that with the necessary precision and review, the textile sector can make new and right investment decisions in Turkey, where knowledge and quality production is on an ever increase.
Brückner for Finishing
Mehmet Özcan stated that the companies they represent have recently focused their R&D activities especially on the solutions based on the criteria mentioned above. Özcan added that the new solutions and technologies developed within this context have been presented to the market and have attracted great interest. Emphasizing that Brückner has performed a great amount of sales in their Power Line model, in the recent years, Özcan said that energy saving and anti-pollution features stand out in these models.
“Especially with their technology and applications to reduce gas consumtion, POWER-FRAME Stenters have provided 15-25 percent of benefit. The new tieless drying machine POWE-RELAX, equipped with the same characteristics, is ready to prove that it is the least energy-consuming system, which is its first reference in Turkey. With the ECOTECHNOLOGY applications, which have recently been introduced to the market by Brückner, the air exhausted from the stenters and drying machines can be recovered by a technology offering ease of cleaning and high recovery rate. Besides the systems to decontaminate and clean the harmful compounds have started to be used very successfully,” said Özcan about the innovations of Brückner
FONG’S Reduced Consumption
Özcan stated that Fong’s, which is another company represented by İTEKS, has been developing machines of universal model for the dyeing processes of more kinds of fabric and bobbin dyeing. Özcan added that the company has also discovered how to ensure less consumption in these models. “TEC Series, introduced at ITMA Barcelona in 2011 by Fong’s, consumes less water and steam while dyeing 1,4 flote fabric,” said Özcan and added that THEN-AIRFLOW, which has proven itself, has outstanding features in energy consumption. Özcan added that the machine has a great market share in the countries that are very sensitive about water consumption. Özcan remarked that the demand increased for THEN-AIRFLOW in 2011 and he argued that this increase will also continue in 2012. Özcan added that with 1:5 liquor rate, the bobbin dyeing machine ALLWIN is the best model in this field.
Mehmet Özcan stated that GOLLER-SITENSA, which has been renewed in the fields of continuous dyeing-bleaching-mercerizing applications, is the only advanced solution consuming the least water and steam per a kilo of fabirc. Özcan added that the singeing machines developed for the knitted fabrics by OSTHOFF-SENGE, has a solution to prevent the enzyme application.
Özcan stated that with its 550 sqm/h printing capacity, SPHEN model digital printing machine, introduced at ITMA Barcelona 2011 by STORKPRONTS, offers fast production and high production capacity. Özcan added that they expect a great demand for this machine in 2012.
Özcan stated that the stenters and chain-type dryers of ERHARDT LEIMER have precision hardware increasing the rate of utilizing them well. Özcan argued that the weft straightener ELSTRAIGTH, equipped with a camera system will attract great interest in 2012.
Mehmet Özcan added that NIPCO, the advanced technology calender of RAMISCH GUARNERİ, is the best in giving the allurement to the fabric permanently.
