Yünsa, Turkey's and Europe's largest top segment wool fabric manufacturer integrated under a single roof, has announced the financial results for the 3rd quarter of 2018. According to statement delivered to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) by Yünsa, the company realised a net profit of TRY 19,03 million in the third quarter of the current year. Yünsa achieves a great success by increasing its net profit by 4 times compared to the same period of last year. 68% of the turnover reaching TRY 265 million has been realised through exports.
Evaluation Of Third Quarter Results
Evaluating the results of the third quarter, Nuri Rafik Düzgören, General Manager at Yünsa suggests, "we, as Turkey's and Europe's largest top segment wool fabric manufacturer integrated under a single roof, are moving confidently to become the world leader. Additionally, our success in exports is an important factor for increasing our brand value. By successfully managing our restructuring process that we initiated in 2017, we created a solid structure."
Effect Of R&D and Innovation On Growth
"We will continue to grow with our focus on R&D and innovation. Our turnover has reached TRY 265 million. We will continue to contribute to the economic growth, national economy and industrial accumulation of our country with our efficiency-oriented works", explains Düzgören, stressing the R&D and innovation studies carried out by Yünsa.
Market Volume Goals In Far East
68% of the turnover reaching TRY 265 million in the third quarter of the year has been realised through exports. Today, Yünsa exports to more than 50 countries and has more than 400 customers. Düzgören further states they have 40% of the exports made in Turkey and they meet approximately 5% of the world's total wool fabric.
