Some firms renovated themselves during this term. After this, market found its own place when we entered to last decade. Countries which were our customers in the past are our opponents now. So a regression began in market in terms of global. For example; our customer Poland, Hungary, Russia, The Ukraine and Belarus began to make production on a large scale. Accordingly, downfalls rose in the field of textile industry.” said.

Nobody says that there is a crisis in 2013 but we have a crisis within ourselves. This situation isn’t special for only Turkey it continues also in terms of global too. So we must invest, form capital, strengthen the crew and increase advertising works to overcome the crisis without loss.”

Future of Industry is Anti-Damping

Yusuf Demir, General Manager of Mert Düğme who is member of 42nd Committee that contains Textile Subsidiary Products in Istanbul Chamber of Commerce stated that they give importance to anti-damping which means that imported products aren’t sold under a certain price for the future of industry. And Demir added that they took a decision about this matter in the meeting in ITO and ended his speech as follows; “We took a decision about anti-damping in the meeting in ITO and we conveyed this decision to authorities. We will do the best we can do for enactment of this matter, because anti-damping has an importance for actors of sector. Everybody can change a matter in the scope of jurisdiction. A committee member has limited authority but we will use our authority as long as we are supported.  Some institutions such as chamber of industry, chamber of commerce, ITHIB, ITKIB should find solutions by making something collectively.”
