“LMW and EHWHA are Replaced with the Removed Machines”
Muteks Mümessillik, which offers consulting sales and support services in the field of textile machinery, also provides after-sales services with its professional staff in its office in Kahramanmaraş. The machines of the yarn segment that are represented by the company in Turkey are as follows; LAKSHMI complete spinning line machines, VETAL foreign material and pp removal device, fire and metal detector. On the other hand the machines for the dyeing and finishing section include EHWHA stenter for synthetic and cotton fabric, DAEYANG rotary printing machine and steam machine.

Mustafa Çelenk, General Manager of Muteks, stated that 2011 was a very successful year in terms of the sales and orders recorded in spinning and finishing machines. Çelenk underlined that the machines they put on the market continues to acquire market shares from the European brands. Çelenk drew attention to the incease in the sales and remarked that they are satisfied with the situation ongoing in the sector since 2010 and 2011.

Çelenk stated that installation of the machines continues at SANKO’s facilities in Gaziantep, Başpınar and Adıyaman and BEYTEKS’s facilities in Osmaniye and Ceyhan. Çelenk added that in the upcoming period they will give new machines to particular companies in Gaziantep, Tekirdağ, Malatya, Özbekistan and Kahramanmaraş. “We receive very positive feedbacks from the companies using our machines. Now, our customers contemplating about adding the new LNM machines in their lines,” said Çelenk.

Lakshmi is Our Flagship

Mustafa Çelenk stated that among the companies they represent Lakshmi (LMW) is the flagship for them and later comes the South Korean stenter manufacturer EHWHA. Stating that Lakshmi is a company that has a 50 years of history, Çelenk said that Lakshmi is one of the two companies which is engaged in the production comprising all processes from blowroom to ring.

Çelenk remarked that the fact that Lakshmi is an Indian based company does not create a negative image, on the contrary as the companies get to know LMW they become more interested in LMW. Çelenk underlined that they are at the same standards with their competitors. Çelenk continued by saying; “Lakshmi completed its 50th year in 2011, in other words it is no longer inexperienced in the sector. It has been the leader in the Asian region for a long time and they sell out of machines. Having renewed itself and started to use more modern production techniques, LMW has begun to expand out of India, which is their traditional market. Lakshmi is a strong group, which manufactures aprons, rings, spindles, cots, clasps, comb wires and electric engines for the machines it produces therefore the costs decreases and the machine prices becomes more economic. The company supplies the electronic equipments from Siemens and Danfoss and it manufactures the electric engines in cooperation with Germany. Lakshmi performs all the rest beginning with the casting line, in its own factories with the automation and and robot systems it uses along with modern machines.”

Lakshmi is the Leader in Asia

Mustafa Çelenk remarked that the machines of Lakshmi have reasonable prices and today the company has 46 million spindles over the world. “Lakshmi has 40 million spindles only in India. This figure is around 130-135 thousand in Turkey,” said Çelenk. He also argued that in Turkey, the number of spindles will increase rapidly in 2010. Çelenk reminded that Lakshmi entered the Turkish marked 14-15 years ago and that due to some agreements, it could not sell many of the machines it had manufactured for years. “For example LMW’s regulated drawframe had been sold in India for years, whereas it could not be sold in the Turkish market. LMW did not have the right to sell this machine outside of India. However the agreement is now over and the machine has started to be sold in the global market,” said Çelenk.

Çelenk reminded that Lakshmi increased its power in the Asian region and it sold nearly 565 spindles to China in the last one and a half year. Çelenk also stated that Lakshmi enhanced its activities in the sales, after-sales and the control processes in Turkey and that an expert engineer in Kahramanmaraş tours the facilities periodically and controls the lines. Çelenk emphasized that the Turkish manufacturers are now acting more consciously and carefully while purchasing machines and that Lakshmi strengthened itself depending on these criteria.

Çelenk added that thanks to its high production capacity, Lakshmi can deliver the orders within 4 or 6 months. Stating that ITMA Barcelona was one of the most important events of the last year, Çelenk said that Lakshmi participated in the event and attracted more interest than expected. Çelenk also stated that the company will participate ITM 2012 in April in İstanbul and will exhibit 210/B Regulated Drawframe LDA/1, Compact Ring LRJ9 and LK69 comber with 600 npm.

The Number of EHWHA Stenters Increased to 56 in Turkey

Çelenk said that 56 EHWHA stenters have been sold to the Turkish market in January and the product they’ve sold have been replaced with the European brands removed from the lines. “We’ve sold 56 stenters within 4 years and 95 percent of these machines were sent to the manufacturers in Bursa. The companies manufacturing woven and knitted fabrics started to prefer EHWHA stenters thanks to the low energy consumption costs,” said Çelenk.

Çelenk remarked that the gas and electricity consumption in EHWHA machines is 12-14 percent lower than the machines of European brands. Çelenk added that EHWHA is satisfied with the developments in the Turkish market. Çelenk continued by saying; “We do not turn to the market in order to sell more machines. We know that the after-sales process is more important than the sales process. Some of our customers have already purchased their second or third EHWHA machines and this shows that we are on the right way. We want the machines we install to be used for years and to provide benefits beyond expectations so we continue to provide services in the sales and after-sales periods. Therefore Erkan Çelenk, who is second generation manager of our company, will go India and Korea at the end of the month in order to receive a technical training on the new machines.”

Mustafa Çelenk said that Muteks represents DAEYANG, which is another Korean company that has entered the Turkish market with precision rotary printing machine. Çelenk finished by saying;  “The closed and open DAEYANG steam engines have received appreciation from the companies.”
