Kimtex is a world leading woven fabric producer. Kimtex and Gözek Family’s roots comes from the years of 1930s. Kimtex which is founded by Vahit GÖZEK in 1982, is a textile facility which is operated privately. Since it’s founded, Kimtex has become a worldwide fabric supplier for retailers and it still has responded to the changing consumer demands and fashion trends.
Kimtex Textile, received the tile of “Creation Centre” by supplying the criterions which are specified by The Ministry of Science Industry and Technology in 16th of March 2018. The company continues to develop with its 22 creation centre personnel. With the Creation Centre encouragement made by government, it is aimed to create a competitive environment in international level while adding value to the products.
As a company which learns and renovates itself , Kimtex’s Member of Board Ayla ÇELİK, while stating that “The key of success is creation.” , also emphasized that they are paving the way to be a worldwide know brand with the quality and variety of creation of their products. She also stated that; “The title of Creation Centre which is given us by Ministry of Science Industry and Technology, supported us in our way to be a worldwide known company.”
The amendments on the creations and collections which are created by Creation Centre team, wide product range and the increased actions on diversity, aim to have and support skilled labour workforce and creation personnel. Creation Centre aims to widen its product range and creation vision without making concessions of quality creation.
Coloured Travertines Project
The creations and amendments of collections, wide range of product and diversification activities are aimed to increase qualified workforce and creation personnels. Thus, Creation Centre has 8 completed and 4 on-going projects since it’s been established. The on-going creation qualified T0004 project is inspired by the soft reflection of travertines and the project is called as “Coloured Travertines” later on. Inspired by the starting point of the fabrics prepared within the scope of this project, the designs were developed by giving a embossing effect on the fabrics. When you touch these fashion icon fabrics, the senses of the patterns and the general elegance sense has been a project which brings added value to our fabrics and also creates innovations in product range of our company.
In addition to the Creation Centre, the company highlights the importance of these projects while developing with its projects and renovations. On the other hand, he supports his projects with his university collaborations by getting closer to his academic environment for his designs and projects. In order to increase the quality of the personnel while employing the qualified Creation centre personnel, it attaches importance to the development of the staff's perspective with the participation of fairs, training, seminars and symposiums.
