Intertextile Shanghai's Spring edition is taking place at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC) in Shanghai, China, on March 12-14. At this fair, which was followed by our editors, we have spoken to more than one brand and company representatives. We talked with many brand and company representatives sheduled by the delegates of the tour organization on the VIP Tour. We talked to MS Printing, Vitality, Solstiss and Asai Kasei.
During the interview we had with Regional Sales and Marketing Manager Valter Oggioni from MS Printing which has many machines in all over the world; Oggioni stated that their machines are highly appreciated and they had sold their machines to every Asian area. Oggioni also stated that they have 80 machines in China and they are providing service in all over Asia particularly in Korea, Indonesia and Malaysia.
When we visited the stand of Vitality, a company in Beijing, the booth official introduced us their company. Vitality is a company that focuses on Italy's fabric import which has stocks in Beijing. The company has a tailor’s shop in China and offers its collections twice a year for spring / summer and autumn / winter. He also noted that the Italian companies they work with also serve in China.
Marc Barbisan from the French producer Solstiss noted that; “We are participating for the second time in Intertextile Shanghai Fair. In the French pavilion, here are generally companies from Northern France. We manufacture French lace. We have a modern and elegant style. Our laces are the best quality.” while introducing the company for us.
Asai Kasei, a company serving in a wide range of sectors, from textile to home textiles to health; was also in the fairground. Sales representative stated that; “Not only our products, but the whole production process is sustainable. We care sustainability and social responsibility a lot. GRS Global Recycling Standard approved the cotton we use. For this reason, our products can disappear in nature. Normally, biodegradable products begin to disappear in nature within 50 days of using them. Our sustainability level is high. ” while showing a regenerated cotton ball to the visitors of their stands.
