Ahmet Çalık, Çalık Holding’s chairman of executive board, was given an honorary Phd title by Kindai University in Japan. After receiving his first honorary PhD title from Matsumoto Dentistry University for his contributions to socio- economic development between Japan and Turkey, he received his second honorary PhD title from Japan.
Ahmet Çalık during the ceremony at Kindai University for his honorary PhD title said: ‘ I am very happy and honored for this honorary Phd on commercial relations that Kindai University, Japan where I love so much, gave me.’
Çalık emphasized that there is a friendship between Turkey and Japan which is seen very rare and said: ‘ We see an important growth in our economic relations through the increase in direct investments in recent years. There are many investment areas for Turkish and Japanese companies in Turkey and around which are eligible for global cooperation. We, as being the Turkish companies, wish that our business partnerships with our Japanese friends grow with sustainable projects.’
Çalık Group makes important projects in Middle Asia with Japanese firms for over 25 years and is planning to make new projects with Japanese companies in Eurasia and in Africa which holds big work potential in the future.
