The Turkish Hatex, which participated in one of the world’s most prestigious home textiles fair Heimtextil in 2012, satisfied its expectations from the fair

Heimtextil 2012 were flooded with the Turkish companies operating in the field of home textiles. Nilgün Cengiz, Marketing and Sales Manager at Hatex, which is one of the Turkish manufacturers that participate in the fair each year with an increasing number, said that the fair was a successful one for them. Cengiz shared her assessments about the sector with Textil Dünyası and remarked that they’ve been taking part in Heimtextil for 15 years without interruption.

Cengiz stated that the children’s products manufactured from towel, mat and bathrobe, attracted great interest from the visitors at their booth. Cengiz underlined that all the product groups such as yarn dye, jacquard, dobby, velvet, frizz and embroidery are manufactured their own company. In addition to these products, Cengiz stated that they exhibited the products made of ecological and fairtrade cotton and that all their product groups have been certified. “Besides, the products of our brand called Sensei, took part in our booth. We included the trend colors and models in this year’s collection,” said Cengiz.

We Established Important Business Relationships

Cengiz stated that they experienced a fair that gave positive signals. “The visitations of the willing and prepared buyers can be considered to be a sign of the upcoming important and positive developments. The projects and purchase requests of the buyers point out that the fair will give positive results. I hope that the signals we receive will not come to nothing,” said Cengiz. Stating that the booth of their company was visited mainly by the European buyers, Cengiz remarked that they also negotiate with the Americans on the ready projects. Cengiz reminded that the buyers in Heimtextil 2012, visited them with more prepared and specific programs. “We experienced a more efficient organisation compared to the previous year,” said Cengiz.

Cengiz also gave hints about the plans and activities of Hateks in 2012 and stated that the company will continue its R&D activities and will make its investments in parallel with this studies. Cengiz remarked that in this period, they will carry out projects to increase the popularity of the brand Sensei in Europe and that Hateks stands out in the sector with the certifications it has got. Cengiz continued by saying; “Our company, which works in cooperation with the wholesalers, brands, supermarket chains and store chains, has long-established business relations with the world’s leading companies. Our company provides any kinds of technical support for its customers and with our the certificates, which apply to many countries and companies, we eliminate the inspection costs. In addition to its periodic investments, with the studies it carries out to increase the product quality, its increasing product varieties and capacity, Hateks manufactures all kinds of towels and bathrobes within its own body.”

A Close Look at Hateks

Hateks A.Ş., established in 1973, is now a full integrated textile company. Hateks, which entered the production process by spinning, is engaged in the delivery of packaged products in the final stage. With a production capacity of 350 tons per month, Hateks is able to manufacture every kinds of products made of terry. All production processes involving towel production take place within the body of the company. On the other hand the production units of the company include; Ring Spinning, Open-End, Weaving (Dobby and Jacquard), Dyeing (Fabric and Yarn), Finishing, Embroidery and Apparel.

Hateks, which includes Sensei, the brand of French-Turkish partnership, performs 20 percent of its production for this brand. 75 percent of the brand’s production capacity is for Europe, 20 percent is for America and 5 percent is for the domestic market.
