DeFacto has taken first step to become a Design Center which certified by the T.C. Ministry of Industry and Technology by preparing a submission file consisting of its 24 ongoing projects. Following the submission, as a result of the field visits of the experts which were assigned by the ministry, the physical conditions, infrastructure, personnel competencies, collaborations and projects of the DeFacto Design Center were assessed in detail and certified by the ministry after the evaluation.
DeFacto Design Center aims to bring an innovative insight and sustainability awareness to the sector with its planned innovative projects, and focuses on bringing in added-value to production and design thanks to the university-industry collaborations. The Center both carries out the My Tech Mentor project with the young talents at Istanbul University, Yıldız Teknik University, Sakarya University, Hacettepe University and Dokuz Eylül University, and also continues its work on digitalization and sustainability topics within the scope of protocols. The center also continues its negotiations with universities for project-based collaborations.
