Operating to promote and market the American cotton industry in global markets, Cotton Council International (CCI) became sponsor to Kahramanmaraş Textile Machinery Fair. CCI will introduce the American cotton to the textile manufacturers in the region and explain the works behind the renewed COTTON USA brand in KTM 2014 where 250 firms from 22 countries will take part. Authorities of CCI will inform the visitors about COTTON USA licensing, promotion and marketing activities of CCI in the global arena, Supply Chain Management program, and sustainable cotton production in the United States of America and global developments in the cotton and supply sectors.
Supported by the American cotton industry, COTTON USA highlights cotton which is used as yarn, fabric and clothe in the textile sector with a brand new viewpoint by putting emphasis on the quality it adds to human life, its naturality and comfort and its being at the centre of the fashion. In addition to its offices in Washington, Memphis, London, Hong Kong, Seoul and Shanghai, COTTON USA is represented in many countries including Turkey and conducts activities to expand and inform markets about American cotton and products manufactured out of American cotton.
Advantages of COTTON USA License
COTTON USA creates new business ties for the supply chain marketing program of CCI through its licensed firm network. COTTON USA organises conferences, purchase tours and international summits for the textile sector while it provides special supply support for the companies. COTTON USA License is granted to the factories, manufacturers, retailers and brands complying with the quality criteria of CCI for free. In this way, COTTON USA specifies the quality of the product on which it is found and also contributes to the value of the product in the mind of the client. It also provides support for the license holders to promote their products manufactured out of American cotton ranging from marketing, sale point promotion, consumer campaigns and public relations.
“Our Farmers are full of Passion”
Marsha Powell, Program Director of CCI for Turkey, explains American cotton and COTTON USA as such: “If our cotton were able to talk, it would talk about extraordinary people contributing to its raising and growing processes. Our farmers are full of passion: about what they do, their products and environment. They devote themselves to turn an agent of the soil into the fibre of our lives. They perceive the connection of their products with important things of the life from a single point of view.
In order to reflect this point of view, we renewed the brand of COTTON USA and moved on. Whenever you see our new COTTON USA logo, you realise that our farmers and the industry spreading throghout the country come out with products of high quality carrying the passion in question. It represents plain and modern appearance, innovative American spirit, purity, quality and responsibility values of America and a living compund of seed, sun and soil in the USA.”
