Button Diversity to Determine Trends by Polsan

The firm, focusing on quality product and customer satisfaction, is determining trends at button sector with the collections it creates as well. İsak Pardo, Chairman of the Board of Polsan Düğme who answered our questions about Polsan Düğme that is the biggest polyester button manufacturer and exporter of Turkey and MENA in our day, gave place important information.

İsak Pardo who states they carry out production at full- equipped production facilities with latest technology, says “We are producing processed button, buckle, rivet, pinking and any kind of accessory from zamak and brass at our metal accessory factory we founded in 2013. And in our factory in Kartal, we are keeping on the productions of any kind of buttons such as polyester, genuine horn, bone, wool, coconut, pearl and urea.”

“Interest for Natural Products Is Increasing”

İsak Pardo, giving information on the most demanded products at button and accessory group, mentions that the demand for natural products has an increase. Pardo maintains his words as follows; “Interest for natural products has an increase with the changing trend in recent years. Especially due to the fact that the use of these products are more than past, we have made serious attempt with these ones and still making. Natural button production is more costly and needs more labor than polyester button. I can say we are the biggest natural button supplier of Europe now. As a result of changing trends, developing fashion flow, button has become one of the points marketing the product, as being Polsan, we care for R&D, carry out big investment, follow all of the developments and innovations at button production sector in the world closely and apply them in our production. Both with our latest model machines and with designs and collections prepared by our R&D department each season, we are taking our place at product creativity part instead of being a subsidiary material supplier for garment manufacturers and we achieve this with the value we give for innovation.”

“We Want To Carry The Synergy We Create With Our Customers To All Over The World”

İsak Pardo who says “We have active role at button and accessory trends with the importance we give for R&D and the collections we create; we add value to the product”, add his words that they work to gain more value for Polsan brand. İsak Pardo says “We are standing out with our own design products at international fairs. With the strategy of delivering the best quality product to the customer as soon as possible which is also our mission, we wish to carry the synergy we create with our customers in EMEA to all over the world.”

Pardo, who shares information about the export activities of Polsan Düğme, gives place to the following explanations; “Polsan has always moved with always and anytime export motto until today since 1993 it started export and still does. If giving a striking statistics, according to the data of worldwide popular statistical institute, Turkey’s button export to all world is at 1, 5 levels and Polsan’s share on this pie is at 25% level. I think this is the sign of our care we give for export. Beside this, government promotions for export enable us to be braver on increasing our recognition at current markets and in the search of new markets.”

“We Continued To Turn Our Face To Foreign Trade in 2018.”

Pardo who says they have maintained their activities on foreign trade in 2018 as well non- stop says; “We made deals with competent educational institutions for our foreign trade unit to offer more effective and innovative solutions. And we started to pick the fruits of these in 2018”. Pardo who states they have the newest machine park of the world on button and accessory production, adds his words that they caught the rise of turnover with the investments they realized in 2017. Pardo ends his words as follows; “We started to the rise of turnover in the first quarter of 2018. And in the rest of 2018, we hope to see the same levels.”
