Bursalı Tekstil Grows Its Investment in Turkmenistan

Bursalı, one of Turkey's largest towel exporters, despite of challenges in world trade, continues on its path with confidence in its global growth journey. The company has decided to grow its investment in Turkmenistan where where it continues to work with a focus on making its global operational activities more efficient, achieving sustainable profitability and optimum cost.

Alper Bursalı, the Chairman of the Executive Board of Bursalı, who gave information on the subject, said that they continued their work with a diligence within the scope of their future targets. While expressing that they are adapting to the globalization and rapid advancement of the new world order, Bursalı said, ''We develop innovative products in order to ensure the sustainability of our company and to provide quality service to our customers with the changing global dynamics. Apart from developing original and qualified products that will respond to global market expectations; and by combining our long-standing knowledge and experience with competent manpower, we are achieving all kinds of production, testing, design, analysis and strategies at high standards.’’

We are Developing New Production Models

While emphasizing on the design of their products with world standards, Bursalı noted that they make a difference with Bursalı brand in global markets as well, ''We are also growing our investment in Turkmenistan within the framework of our global structure. Here, we aim to develop new production models in a closed area of 100,000 square meters. In the first quarter of 2023, yarn production and twisting mill and also fabric and yarn dyeing house will be operational in our factory, and in the second phase, towel weaving facility and apparel mill will also be put into operation.”

While giving figures on their annual capacity in their mills, Bursalı said that their mills in Turkmenistan will carry out 12 thousand tons of yarn production, twisting, and dyeing and 10 thousand tons of towel weaving and apparel capacity, Bursalı said that they are aiming to provide employment to nearly 1000 new personnel and to grow the textile investments made in the region in the long term as a company.

While underlining that in today's world, companies should make a transition to the R&D and design driven production, high innovation skills, and an understanding of competitive advantage based on added value, and talked about their efforts to promote innovative products that will make a difference in the market as a consequence of their given importance in line with their purpose, ''It is essential to think out of the box to survive in the market and to make a difference.
