As of 1 April 2016, Martina Bergmann will be taking over as Vice President of Digital Business at Messe Frankfurt, where she will be responsible for the continued development of online products and services for exhibitors and visitors on the internet and mobile devices. Bergmann (46) previously worked for the pharmaceuticals firm Boehringer Ingelheim GmbH & Co. KG, where she held a senior positionin business development and marketing – most recently Head of Marketing Channel Solutions. Among other things, she boasts extensive expertise in the development, implementation and optimisation of online portals and in multichannel marketing. Bergmann began her career in marketing with the automotive companies Honda and Skoda. Martina Bergmann is married and has one child.
