A.Modiano Mümessillik Gains Increase With Savio And Itema

Indicating that they have recorded a substantial increase in machinery sales despite the political and economical problems in Turkey in 2016, Vedat Anjel, an official of Alfredo Modiano Mümessillik ve Dış Ticaret, has made special evaluations for our publishing group.

Stating they have finished the year 2016 in a positive way in terms of companies they have been performing agency services as A.Modiano Mümessillik, Vedat Anjel has made some assessments for our publishing group: "Thanks to the driving force of ITMA Milano Show in November 2015, Kahramanmaraş KTM Exhibition in April 2016 and ITMA Fairs held in June, our machinery sales number has demonstrated a substantial increase in 2016 compared to 2015 despite all these political and economical turmoil. Sales of Savio bobbin machines are highlighted particularly thanks to the investments made in cotton yarn. Thanks to investments in towels, bed linen and garment fabrics, we have had an increase in our sales of Itema weaving machines. Despite the stagnation in curtain and upholstery fabric investments, it has been a productive year for Itema thanks to investments in other sectors of the weaving", comments Anjel.

Saying new brands have also been added to the A.Modiano Mümessillik portfolio in 2016, Anjel declares Electrojet SA, one of the leading companies in the sector, has now joined their A.Modiano representations. "The company has chonses us among other prominent representative candidates owing to our successful work in both the yarn and weaving sectors ", notes Anjel, pointing out that they have had a successful year in 2015 with Electrojet SA, which has opened new doors for them in terms of the sectors they are addressing for brand awareness.

"We Are Delivering Savio And Itema Spare Parts From The Inventory"

Providing after-sale and spare parts services to companies as well, A.Modiano Mümessillik ensures a long-term guarantee to its customers through such services. "We provide assembly, technical services and spare parts procurement of machines sold by our sister company Modiano Teknik Hizmetler. We deliver Savio spare parts from our warehouses located in Istanbul and Kahramanmaras and Itema spare parts from our warehouse in Bursa right from the inventory," explains Anjel, providing insights into the services they provide.

"When it comes to weaving machines, some customers are deceived by its prices and they prefer to use parts that are imported from far east, which are not original and whose life is 1/3 of original ones", says Anjel, pointing out that they have never encountered a problem in services they have provided since signature of a Modiano personnel is required in order for the machine guarantees to be valid. "Our spare parts sales team explains this matter and inform our customers during the visits paid to the loyal customers. At leasts, our customer continue to use original spare parts for our latest rapier-weaving machines Itema R9500 and R9500 Terry models for now", continues Anjel.

Turks Are Distinguished In Paint and Finishing Machines

Answering our questions regarding the machinery production in Turkey in particular as well, Anjel stresses the fact that Turkish textile machinery producers has set the competition bar higher. "Turkey has made a great progress in textile machinery production and finishing sector. Turkish textile machinery producers easily compete with European companies both in terms of quality and price. To be frank, Italian producers, which we represent in paint and finishing sector, have reduced their market share in the Turkish market due to this competition", says Anjel.

The incentives introduced for the textile sector are encouraging investments without question. However, such incentives do not cover all the textile investors in terms of both regional aspects and investment amount. Reducing VAT down to 1 percent for the sales made through leasing again supports the small investors who are not covered by the incentive. Textile is one of the locomotive sectors of Turkey", making statements on the Incentive Law recently announced for textile sector.  "Furthermore, the Turkish industry has become a country that has entered the top 5 in textile production in the world with its know-how and technological investments. Turkey has become the leading market in Europe and ranks 3rd or 5th in world according to the sectors.  Despite many problems experienced in 2016, businessmen have kept making investments. We wish 2017 be as much productive as 2016", concludes Vedat Anjel.
