The monthly economy and business world magazine Fortune has revealed the results of the ‘’Fortune 500’’ research that has documented the leading corporations of Turkey. Aksa Akrilik and Akkim Kimya, Akkök Holding's companies operating in Yalova, succeeded in once again to be listed this year, and also maintained their growth in the general ranking based on net sales figures.
Aksa Akrilik This Year Again in First 100
Turkey's only and the world's leading acrylic fiber producer, Aksa Akrilik, with its total sales of 8 billion 348 million 157 thousand TL in 2021, has risen to 13 places in the general list and ranked as the 74th. Aksa Akrilik, which again managed to place itself amongst the top 100 companies in Turkey this year, also enjoyed the highest 43rd figure in the field of (EBİTDA) Tax and Profitability Before Interest. The company also maintained its growth in the chemicals element sectoral category, while ranking as the 3rd.
Akkim Risen to 69 Places at Once
Akkim Kimya, one of Turkey's leading chemical raw material producers, made a huge move and passed 69 places in the general list to be listed as the 252th with a total net sales figure of 2 billion 328 million 828 thousand TL in 2021. The company has placed itself as the 50th in the export listing which successfully increased its exports by 212 percent in one year. Besides, Akkim has risen two steps to be ranked as the 7th in the chemical element industry.
