Turkish knitted fabric producers call to the public was met after they became unable to compete with imported knitted fabrics due to the recent economic difficulties and increases in raw material prices.
With the decision taken regarding Safeguard Measures in Imports, it was reported that a safeguard measures investigation was initiated by the General Directorate of Imports as a result of the application made by domestic producers for the import of knitted fabrics in the 60th chapter.
Fair Competition
With the announcement published by the General Directorate of Imports, the article invited the producers to fill out the Safeguard Measures Investigation Application Form and submit to the Ministry within 30 days in order to become a relevant party to the investigation in question. It is expected that the additional taxation that may arise as a result of this decision, which is considered positive by the producers, which will not be less than 30%.
