15 designers who passed the second elimination round in the Turkish Home Textile Design Competition Master Class, organized by Uludağ Textile Exporters' Association (UTİB) for 12 years in order to win young and talented designers for the textile industry, are progressing towards the final.
In the competition, in which the design department students of universities showed intense interest; Ayşe Ayça Erdem, Büşra Melis Koçak, Dilan Geyik, Duru Dodanlı, Elif Eren, Enise Bayar, Gizem Boğaç, Gizem Nur Kemiksiz, Meltem Nur Taviloğlu, Nursima Bingöl, Özge Özkan, Selin Sude Yavuz, Sevda Kanalcı, Tülay Ateş and Zeynep Sağır while passing the second elimination round, it was noteworthy that all the contestants who reached that level were female candidates.
The 7 finalists, who will be provided with one on one trainings to get ready for final presentation, will also have a chance to take a closer look to the industrial production processes with factory tours, if all conditions are met and if to get an approval from UTİB members exporting companies.
At the end of each round, among the finalists, the first three whom are qualified for an award, will have the opportunity to receive 6-month online English education, and to register their design, and also to apply for a design scholarship abroad, while the winner of the competition will be entitled to a 1-year EAT Jacquard Weaving Design Program License & User Training.
