Migiboy Tekstil, which maintains its business in the field of yarn, knitted fabric and dye-printing with its 5 built-in factories in Kahramanmaraş, Çorlu and Kırklareli spots, announced their new investment.
In the statement, it was said that the new textile facility to be built on an area of 400.000 square/meter in Niğde Organized Industrial Zone (OSB), expected to be ready in 14 months’ time period. With the said investment to surpass Spandex (Lycra) export capacity, employment capability will be strengthened and 500 personnel will be assigned to positions.
Vehbi Canpolat, Chairman of the Board of Migiboy Group of Companies, said, "I believe that new large investments will be channeled in the coming period especially in textiles.’’
While emphasizing on their new investment as it expected to be the champion to Spandex imports; Canpolat shared the following, ‘Our annual demand for lycra is approximately 60 thousand tons. With our newly established textile mill, as we can provide employment to 500 personnel, we will have the capacity to supply 40.000tons to meet the overall demand of the textile industry. With this investment that also will make a positive impact on our exports in the industry, we aim to reach up to 100tons of production per day.’’
