Yünsa's consolidated operating results for the third quarter of 2020 have been announced. Yünsa, Europe's largest integrated wool fabric manufacturer and exporting to more than 50 countries, increased its gross profit margin to 23 percent in the first nine months of the year, by approximately 7 points compared to the same period of the previous year, despite the impact of the pandemic.

Stating that they had a turnover of 244 million TL in the first nine months of the year, Yünsa General Manager Mustafa Sürmegöz said that despite the pandemic, Yünsa's net profit has increased more than 10 times compared to the same period of the previous year and has reached 11.2 million TL. Sürmegöz said, “The Covid-19 epidemic has affected both our domestic and international markets in the sector. However, we continued our investments as planned. In order to contribute to our competitive advantage, we have implemented technological-oriented innovations in our machine park. Our R&D studies and innovative products open up brand new opportunities for us. Our goal is to make a strong start to 2021 by closing the year in the same profitable way."
